The JAM exam is divided into three sections, A, B and C. Only Section A has negative marking. Finally, IIT JAM final score = (A+B)
Firstly, students can take printed copies of their recorded responses after it is out. Then, print out the JAM answer key and keep them side by side. Take a blank piece of paper and evaluate your recorded responses based on the marking scheme. Finally, calculate all the positive and negative markings and you will have the final score.

But if you do not submit a valid EWS certificate , then:
Your EWS category benefit will be cancelled .
Your result may be treated as General category .
