The NCET 2026 marking structure is to be understood by students who have taken the test. Students need to think about a few things in order to understand the exam's marking method.
Each right response receives +4 points, while each incorrect response receives -1.
Unmarked responses receive zero points.
If more than one option is found to be correct then four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options
If all options are found to be correct then four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question
If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped, then all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be given four (+4) marks.
In order to prepare for their admissions procedure at the participating universities, candidates are encouraged to wait until the NCET 2026 exam results are announced in order to view the NCET 2026 cutoff marks.
No revaluation or rechecking of results provision is in the NCET exam. The result for NCET 2026 has been processed based on the final answer keys.
