How to Download NCET Answer Key 2026?

Students who have taken the NCET exam can check their answer key through some simple steps.

• Visit the official website of NTA at exams.nta.nic.in/ncet.

• Now, click on the ‘NCET 2026 Answer Key’ tab.

• Students need to log in through the NCET application and enter their date of birth.

• Now, the answer key will display on the screen.

• Candidates can download the NCET 2026 answer key for evaluation.

How to Challenge the NCET 2026 Answer Key?

Students were able to raise an objection if any answer is found wrong in the NCET answer key, and then the examiner can raise an objection for the question. They were able to raise objections till April 30 paying a sum of Rs. 200 for each question. Students are advised to cross-check the question once before applying the NCET answer key objection 2026.

How to Challenge the NCET Answer Key 2026?

Students can follow the steps to easily apply for the answer key challenge 2026:

• Visit the official website of NTA at exams.nta.nic.in/ncet.

• Click on the ‘Click on the Raise Objection’ link.

• Login with login credentials (Application ID, date of birth, password and captcha)

• Now, click on the ‘Apply for NCET Answer Key Challenge’ link.

• Then Sign in through the ‘Sign In’ button.

• A page containing questions and answers will appear on the screen.

• Now, select the question number and answer that is to be challenged.

• Also need to add the written document of the question challenged.

• Now, click on the ‘Submit’ button.

• Then, students need to pay the NCET answer key objection fee.

• Last, download and take a printout of the fee receipt and confirmation slip.

NCET 2026 Recorded Response

The National Testing Agency released the NCET recorded response 2026 on the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/NCET. The NCET 2026 recorded response contains the answers marked by the students in the exam.

NCET Marking Scheme 2026

All the questions in the NCET exam will be of multiple choice. Applicants have to mark only one answer. If more than one option is marked, the agency will reject the question and marks will be deducted. The NCET 2026 marking scheme is as follows:

• Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)

• Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1)

• Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0)

• If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.

NCET Score 2026

If the NCET exam is conducted in multiple shifts and multiple sessions, the raw score is converted into the NTA score 2026. The normalised NCET score will now be used by the National Testing agency for the admission in the academic year 2026-26. This NTA 2026 score will also be used by the other organisations as per their eligibility criteria/norms/applicable regulations/guidelines/rules.
