The University of Delhi has announced the DU first seat allotment 2026 for its undergraduate courses on July 16. The DU first seat allotment 2026 is done through the DU UG CSAS. Candidates can access their account on the CSAS portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. Students have to login to their account and accept their DU allotted seat. Then, they are required to pay the college fee online for DU 1st seat allotment 2026 by July 21. Seats are allotted to applicants who have given the CUET UG exam and secure a valid score in it. The DU first seat allotment list 2026 is dependent on the factors such as number of students applied, seat intake in course and college, score in the CUET exam, choice filling during DU CSAS round, reservation policies and other such factors. Applicants who have not been allocated seats in round 1 must wait for the DU seat allotment 2026 for round 2, which will be announced on July 25.

The allotment of a seat is a provisional admission into the university. Applicants can freeze their spot in the college by accepting the DU First seat allocation 2026 by following the below mentioned steps -

Now, click on ‘Accept’ to freeze the course and college seat.
Then pay the college fee online, to lock the seat allotted to you
Now the applicant has to wait for the college’s approval of admission.
The admission remains provisional even after a seat is allotted to candidates. After paying the college fee, the college will review the candidate’s eligibility, CUET exam score and rank, check for DU UG subject combinations, candidates’ subject mapping and verify their uploaded documents. Once the college has verified these details, the candidate will be awarded admission into that respective DU college and course.
