Mumbai University 2024 Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

B.Com

Candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks in Class 10+2 from a recognized board for the general category and 40% marks for SC/ST.

BA

To be eligible, candidates must have completed 10+2 with English as a core subject, in addition to vocational courses.

BSW

Applicants must have passed 10+2 or have completed the first year of a BA, B.Com, or B.Sc degree from Mumbai University or any other university.

BMM

Candidates should have successfully completed their secondary education (10+2) in any field.

Integrated (BA+MA)

The applicant must have completed Class 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate.

B.Sc

Applicants should have completed their Class 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and English as one of the main subjects.

Candidates should have passed 10+2 with a language subject and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Child Development, Textile Laundry and Clothing.

Applicants should possess at least a 10+2 qualification with Mathematics or Statistics as a major subject.

Aspiring candidates must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% for the General category and 40% for the reserved categories in order to be eligible for admission. Additionally, those with diploma qualifications in Information Technology/Computer Technology/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical, Electronics and Video Engineering and Allied Branches/Mechanical and Allied Branches/Civil and Allied Branches are eligible for direct admission to the second year of the programme.

Candidates must have a minimum of 45% for the General category and 40% for the reserved categories in their 10+2 (PCB) qualification.

Class 10+2 with PCM

Applicants must have either a 10+2 qualification with Mathematics and Physics as core subjects, or a Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics & Video Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or any related branches.

Candidates must have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum of 45% marks for the general category and 40% marks for the reserved categories, or possess a diploma in the relevant discipline.

BPA

Applicants must have completed Class 10+2 from a recognised board.

B.Mus

BFA

Applying candidates must have completed Class 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate.

Mumbai University Eligibility 2024 for PG Courses

Course

Eligibility Criteria

M.Com

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from a recognised university, with at least 50% for the General category and 45% for SC/ST.

M.Sc

Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum score of 50% for the general category and 45% for the reserved categories.

B.Sc. with Home Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology or Agriculture with 50% marks in aggregate.

MA

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field, such as a BA, B.Com, B.Sc, or any equivalent degree. A Bachelor of Arts (Education) or Bachelor of Education with a minimum of 45% marks is also acceptable. Any other graduation degree may also be accepted.

Any bachelor’s degree holder can apply.

Integrated (B.Sc+M.Sc)

Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 60% marks in PCM in 10+2 for the general category, and 55% marks in PCM for the reserved categories.

M.Sc (By Research)

Applicants must hold a B.Sc. in the applicable field and achieve a minimum of 50% for general category applicants and 45% for reserved category applicants.

MPA

Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Dance) degree from an recognised university.

MFA

Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree and have at least five years of experience in the relevant field.

Master in Theatre Arts

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Dramatics and Theatre Arts with a minimum of 2nd division grade, plus relevant experience in theatrical activities.

M.Mus

Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Professional Arts degree with specialization in Music.

MMM

Applicants need a Bachelor's degree/higher, 5+ years of Marketing experience, or professional qualifications (ACA, AICWA, AMIE, CAIIB) plus 2 years of work experience, or a Postgraduate degree/diploma and 2 years of work experience.
