Aspirants who have submitted their CCMN 2025 application form must submit their choice of program and institute in order of preference.
The candidate's eligibility will determine the institutes and programmes that are available to them.
Candidates may select as many options from the list of available options to fill out in the order of their preferences.
If a candidate wants to change their preferred options, they may do so within the allotted time for each round specified in the counselling schedule. Only when choices have been locked are candidates required to take a printout of the completed options.
Counselling for the CCMN is primarily based on candidates' scores in the JAM 2025.
CCMN 2025 counselling includes four steps: registration, choice filling, seat assignment, and counselling and payment confirmation.
For candidates wanting to participate in the M.Sc/M.Sc (Tech) admissions counselling process, registration with CCMN is mandatory.
CCMN 2025 will only be open to candidates who pass the JAM 2025 cutoff and make the merit list.
During the CCMN 2025 seat allocation process, the closing scores for each subject and each institute will be announced.
Candidates who accept seats must pay the Balance Institute Fee (BIF) through the payment options provided by their allotted institute and claim their Provisional Admission Letter (PAL).
After the final list is published, there will be a 'National Spot Round' if there are any vacant seats. Candidates who failed to obtain seats in the previous CCMN 2025 counselling rounds will now have to fill out particulars, upload their documents, and pay a non-transferrable fee to obtain a Permanent Identifier (PID).
The NIT Warangal will release the CCMN 2025 merit list in June. This merit list will be prepared based on the “common percentile” that the candidates have achieved in JAM 2025.
If there are two or more candidates with the same common percentile, then the tie will be resolved based on the inter-se-merit a candidate is deemed to have, following the below-mentioned criteria.
The candidate who scored the highest on JAM 2025 will be preferred.
If the JAM scores of the two candidates are equal, preference will be given to the older applicant.
If the applicants have the same percentile, JAM score, and date of birth, a random number is generated to decide the rank list. Candidates with lower random numbers will be given preference.
The CCMN cutoff is determined according to the candidates' scores in the JAM 2025 and the number of seats available at the participating institutes. In the cut off for CCMN 2025, candidates can download a PDF that includes the closing score and final rank, which they can study at their leisure. The CCMN cutoff 2025 will be released in five rounds, and if any seats remain vacant after all five rounds, those seats are filled by the National Spot Round and the Institutional Spot Round.

Seats are assigned according to the merit and a cutoff score based on the choices made by candidates at the time of registration. Candidates who are allotted seats must deposit the seat acceptance fee via SBI-MOPS within a stipulated time period and they can download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, and move on to the next step.

After logging onto the official CCMN website, candidates will then have to upload the appropriate documents. If you are paying the seat acceptance fee, you will have the option to upload documents only after you have paid the fee.
Candidates will next be called on to exercise the online Submission of Willingness. They will have three options:
Float- If applicants wish to be considered in the next round for all of their better-preferred choices (i.e. across the institutes).
Slide- If candidates wish to be considered in the next round for their better-preferred choices only within the institute allotted to them.
Freeze- if they are satisfied with the currently allotted seat and not interested in their better-preferred choices in the subsequent round(s).
The document verification is done by the verifying officer of the respective allotted institute only in the online mode.
If there is a question regarding the documents, the document verifying officer of the allotted institute will contact the candidate, who can respond through his/her login.
As part of the allotment process, the candidate will be required to submit his clarifications/documents in response to the questions raised by the Document Verification Officer of the allocated institute within the stipulated time frame, failing which he will be treated as Not-Reported. Subsequently, his/her seat will be cancelled and not be considered for seat allocation in subsequent rounds.
During document verification, if the personal data submitted by the candidate during online registration is found to be false, his/her seat allotment is liable to be cancelled.
In the event that all documents are verified and the seat is confirmed, the candidate will be required to complete the admission formalities by paying the balance institute fee during the ′′Online Admission′′ period following Round-3 of regular rounds, as per the schedule provided on the CCMN 2025 website, otherwise, the seat will be forfeited and treated as an ′′Auto-Withdrawal′′.
