Step-wise Admission Process After First Allotment

  • After the first round of seat allocation, colleges will be assigned to students through the CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) portal.
  • With the allotment, students will also be able to see the difference between their CUET score and the cutoff score for their preferred college. This will help them know how close they were to getting a seat in a higher-choice college.
  • Next, students can apply for admission to the college allotted to them.
  • After that, students can choose one of the options:

    • Lock: If students are happy with the college they have been allotted, they can lock their seats to confirm their admission.

    • Upgrade: If the cutoff difference is small and they hope to get a better option in the next round, they can choose to upgrade and wait for a higher-preference college in the next allotment.
