GCAS Portal 2026: The Education Department, Government of Gujarat, has launched the GCAS 2026 portal at gcas.gujgov.edu.in. The GCAS 2026 registration process has been started on May 7 or UG courses. Candidates must fill out and submit the application form for GCAS quick registration 2026 before May 28. The GCAS portal provides a single platform for the counselling for both UG and PG courses on its official website. Students applying for GCAS quick registration 2026 in participating universities have to visit the official website of the GCAS portal.

Students should follow the steps given below to know how to register in GCAS 2026 portal by following the steps given below:
Visit the official portal - gcas.gujgov.edu.in
Click on the “Apply Now” tab
Submit the required details such as candidates name, programme name, category, date of the birth, email id, gender and mobile number and click on ‘Get OTP’
Aspirants will get an OTP to their registered mobile number and email ID
Enter the login credentials such as application number and password.
Click on the “Sign in” window.
Enter all the required details in the application form.
Upload the documents required for registration.
Submit the application form and pay the registration fee.
Download the “GCAS 2026 application form” for future reference.
The GCAS portal will conduct a centralised online admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Gujarat.
Students will be able to apply to all colleges affiliated to the 14 institutions in the state through the GCAS portal.
The GCAS quick registration 2026 helps candidates choose their desired course and institutions.
Candidates have to pay the application fee through the GCAS portal.
Note: The shortlisted candidates' names will be released at the GCAS portal. The shortlisted candidates can get admitted based on the seat availability through the portal.

The application window for MSc MLT and other PG courses at Gujarat University is expected to open sometime in May. The first round is expected in May, and the subsequent rounds in June 2026. For more updates, keep on checking the GCAS portal.
