DU B.Sc Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Delhi University will release the DU B.Sc 2019 eligibility criteria 2019 in April 15, 2019 along with the DU Admission notification. The eligibility criteria of DU B.Sc 2019 states the minimum requirements for candidates to apply for the B.Sc programme offered by the University. The University of Delhi has given specific DU B.Sc eligibility criteria 2019 for the different programmes offered. Candidates must go through the specific eligibility prescribed for each of the subjects. Candidates must also check the DU B.Sc 2019 eligibility criteria without fail before filling the application form of Delhi University. Candidates applying for the B.Sc programme must have completed their qualifying class 12 examination with minimum marks as given for each category. Candidates who get their qualifying examination results in the form of grades must convert their grades into percentages with reference to the grade conversion table given. Candidates are supposed to enter their best of four marks in their application form based on which the cutoff lists will be released by the different colleges. DU Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Basic Requirements

Candidates can check here the basic eligibility criteria of DU B.Sc 2019 to be followed to apply for DU admission 2019.

  • For DU admissions to the undergraduate programmes the qualifying examination is Class 12 board examination.

  • Candidates who wish to apply for the B.Sc programmes offered by the university must complete their qualifying Class 12 examination with minimum marks as specified for each programme offered.

  • The minimum marks for candidates belonging to the various reserved categories will be specified for the individual programmes. 

  • There is not age limit to apply for the undergraduate programmes.

Candidates must secure 55 percent or more in aggregate of 3 subjects and must pass in one compulsory language i.e. English with 50 percent  marks.











Selection will be made on the basis of marks in the aggregate of 3 Science subjects as mentioned in column 3 for each Honours Course

B.Sc. (Hons.) Biological Science

Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology

Candidates must secure 55 percent or more in aggregate of 3 subjects and must pass in one compulsory language i.e. English with 50 percent  marks

B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Instrumentation, Polymer Science

Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

The overall percentage in 3 subjects should be 55 percent and one compulsory language should be 50 percent

B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology

Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Geology/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Geography

The overall percentage in 3 subjects should be 55 percent and one compulsory language should be 50 percent

B.Sc. (Hons.) Food Technology

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology/Biotechnology

Candidates must secure 55 percent or more in aggregate of 3 subjects and must pass in one compulsory language i.e. English with 50 percent  marks

Selection will be made on the basis of marks in the aggregate of 3 science subjects PCM or PCB/Biotechnology. Applicants who have studied both Mathematics and Biology, i.e., PCMB at qualifying exam will be given 3 percent relaxation

B.Sc. (Hons.) BioChemistry

Chemistry, Biology/Biote chnology and Physics/Math ematics, i.e. PCB or CBM

Candidates must secure 55 percent or more in aggregate of 3 subjects and must pass in one compulsory language i.e. English with 50 percent  marks

OR

Candidates must secure 55 percent or more in aggregate of 3 subjects and must pass in one compulsory language

Selection will be made on the basis of marks in the aggregate of 3 Science 

B.Sc. (Mathematical Sciences)


Candidates must secure 40 percent or more marks aggregate

The Merit shall be determined on the basis of one language, Mathematics and two best elective/academic subjects

B.Sc. in Physical Science/Applied Physical Science(s)

Physics, Chemistry/ Computer Science, Mathematics

Candidates must secure 45 percent or more marks aggregate of 3 subjects and must pass  in one compulsory language (i.e. English).

 OR 

Candidates must have 45 percent or more marks aggregate of 3 subjects and 40 percent in one compulsory language











Selection will be made on the basis of marks in the aggregate of 3 Science 


B.Sc. Life Sciences/Applied Life Science(s)

Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology

Candidates must secure 45 percent or more marks aggregate of 3 subjects and must pass in one compulsory language (i.e. English).

OR

Candidates must secure 45 percent or more marks aggregate of 3 subjects and must pass in one compulsory language

Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc. Home Science (Pass)

Candidate must have an aggregate of English and any 3 discipline Subjects. It is essential to have cleared English

B.Sc.(Hons.)Home Science

Candidates must secure 50 percent marks aggregate of any three of the following subjects: 

At least one subject:Physics/Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/ and other Subjects from (LIST A). (except languages)

B.Sc.(Hons.) Biomedical Science

Candidates must have an aggregate of at least 55 percent in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology (PCB/BT) subjects. 

OR 50 percent marks in English (compulsory subject) Students having PCB/BT with Mathematics (at least 60 percent marks) will be given an advantage of 3 percent over and above their PCB/BT aggregate
