GCAS Registration 2026

The CGAS counselling will be done in three rounds. In the first round of admission students required to follow certain steps:

The Procedure of Second Round of Admission

Application Process:

• In this step Students can register themselves by filling in their basic details such as Program Type, Applicant’s Name, Birth Date, Category, Gender, Email and Mobile Number and can fill up details in Basic Profile.

• can fill their academic details, choose the colleges, upload required documents, pay the registration fees after getting results of the qualifying examination.

• Upload the required documents.

• Then, submit the GCAS registration form.

Provisional Admission Offer List:

• After the last date of application, a provisional admission offer list will be declared by the respective University/Colleges as mentioned in the schedule. The students will be able to view the provisional admission offer list for all the universities/colleges/programs they have selected in the admission form after logging in the GCAS portal.

Grievances of Student:

• If candidates have any objection regarding the admission offer list, they can raise the grievances.

Final Admission Offer List:

• After checking all the grievances, the authority will again release the final admission offer list on its website.

Reporting by the Student through OTP:

• Online admission will be offered to students who are shortlisted for admission based on the intake for that program. The admission confirmation will be done after the reporting of the college. The students have to provide the OTP sent to their registered mobile number/email to the college at the time of confirming the admission.

The Procedure of Second Round of Admission

• In this round only those students who have registered and submitted an online application for admission to GCAS portal and not admitted to any of the colleges in the first round will be considered eligible for admission.

Updated Admission Offer List:

• The university/college will announce the updated admission offer list for the vacant seats after completion of first round

Reporting through OTP by Student :

• The final admission offer of the colleges will be displayed on the GCAS dashboard after the updated admission offer list is published. A student can download the admission offer letter of a college of his/her choice in any one of the given preferences, and can confirm the admission by reporting to that college. The students have to provide the OTP sent to their registered mobile number/email to the college at the time of confirming the admission.

The Procedure of Third Round of Admission

• In this round only those students who have registered and submitted an online application for admission to GCAS portal and not admitted to any of the colleges in first and second round will be considered eligible for admission.

Choice update on GCAS portal by non-admitted student:

• Those students who have not got any seat in the previous rounds can update their preferences

Updated Admission Offer List:

• The university/college will announce the updated admission offer list for the vacant seats.

Reporting through OTP by Student :

• A student can download the admission offer letter of a college of his/her choice in any one of the given preferences, and can confirm the admission by reporting to that college. The students have to provide the OTP sent to their registered mobile number/email to the college at the time of confirming the admission.

GCAS Counselling 2026: Documents Uploaded

Candidates will have to upload their photograph and signature during the registration. Along with this there are also some other documents that need to be uploaded.

• Latest Marksheet- Maximum size of 200kb

• School Leaving Certificate- Maximum size of 200kb

• Caste Certificate (If Applicable)- Maximum size of 200kb

• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (If Applicable)- Maximum size of 200kb

• Differently Abled Certificate (If Applicable)- Maximum size of 200kb

• EWS Certificate (If Applicable)- Maximum size of 200kb

• Domicile Certificate (If Applicable)- Maximum size of 200kb

GCAS Counselling 2026: Important Instructions

Applicants are advised to follow some instructions to easily apply for the GCAS counselling registration.

• Applicants must have an active Email Id and Mobile Number.

• They can register only once, from the same email id.

Note: A student can choose more than one program/college/university in a single application. But students can get admission to a single program through one application.
