It is important that candidates verify that they meet the eligibility requirements before filling out the TS DOST application form 2026. Undergraduate programme eligibility criteria for DOST 2026 are listed below.
Candidates must qualify for admission to the programme by passing a qualifying exam conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State (BIETS) or another board.
School/institute heads must ensure that candidates who pass the qualifying exam from boards other than BIETS, CBSE, or ICSE submit their BIETS Eligibility Certificate.
The admissions committee will give preference to applicants who pass their qualifying exams on their first attempt.

Candidates who clear the intermediate (vocational) medical lab technology course at BIETS or from any other corresponding board are eligible for admission to B.A. or B.Com. Courses at colleges under DOST, except for those pursuing an additional ‘Bridge course’. They will be eligible for admission to different B.Sc. courses at colleges under DOST.
Applicants who are seeking admission to B.Sc courses must have passed the qualifying examination with a score of 40% in the subject they wish to study at the undergraduate level.
Candidates who pass the qualifying exam in the arts or commerce streams will not be eligible to attend B.Sc. courses.
Students who clear the qualifying exam in any of the science, arts, or commerce streams are eligible to apply for B.A, B.Com., BSW, BBA, BBM, and BCA programmes.
Applicants seeking admission to the BSW program must score at least 40% on the qualifying exam.
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education closed the TS DOST 2026 special phase registration process on August 2. Candidates are advised to register themselves with an active email address and phone number when filling out the DOST 2026 application form. After the successful registration, candidates will get the DOST ID login, which must be kept safe. Candidates must also upload scanned images of supporting documents along with the TS DOST application 2026. The DOST 2026 application fees will also be required as part of the application process.
