Students must have finished their Class 12th with a minimum of 40% in their overall grade to be eligible for admission to any of the undergraduate programmes. There are other specialised programmes, including B.Com. Honours, where students must have at least a 60% grade point average in class 12. In topics like B.A. English Honors, the student must have received approximately a 75% on the English portion of the class 12 board test. Therefore, students must review the cutoff scores that the institution requires for each course.
The candidate must have earned their bachelor's degree from a reputable university to be eligible for postgraduate courses. Postgraduate courses may have varying requirements in terms of merit, much like undergraduate programmes. The cutoff applicants must meet to enrol in any of the postgraduate programmes at DU SOL should therefore be checked by candidates.

The university will release the DU SOL 2026 admit card on its official website one to two weeks before the exam. Candidates must use their login details to download their DU SOL hall ticket. On exam day, candidates must carry their admit cards to the testing location. No candidates may enter the exam room without a valid DU SOL hall ticket 2026.
