DU SOL Application Form 2019 - The University of Delhi has released the DU SOL 2019 admission form notification on May 24, 2019. The university has started accepting DU SOL application form 2019 for B. A Programme, B. Com (Hons.), B. A. (Hons.) English and B. A. (Hons.) Political Science from June 01, 2019. The last date to apply for admissions in UG programmes will be July 31, 2019. The application process to fill and submit the application form of DU SOL 2019 will start from August 1 and will continue till August 31, 2019. Candidates who wish to take admissions in the School of Open Learning (SOL) are advised to register online first before filling the DU SOL 2019 admission form. The university had released the DU SOL application form 2019 for PG programmes on May 3, 2019. The last date of DU SOL application from 2019 submission for PG programmes was June 22. The personal details of the candidate, academic details, course are to be filled in the application form of DU SOL and all the relevant documents like mark sheets, certificates, scanned signature, and recent photograph is to be uploaded. For candidates to ensure whether they are eligible or not for applying in the application form 2019 of DU SOL, the eligibility criteria for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are mentioned below.
The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in DU SOL 2019 for undergraduate courses is passing marks in senior secondary school certificate examination (class 12) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an exam equivalent to it.
Minimum eligibility criteria for various postgraduate programmes for application form 2019 in DU SOL was released by the Delhi University. For the MA and M.Com courses, bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject is necessary.
Documents to keep ready before filling up the application form 2019 of DU SOL
One must keep in handy some things before for the process of filling the DU SOL application form. Remember that all the uploaded documents should be legible. The following are the documents to be kept ready:
Email id and phone number
A recently scanned image of the photograph
Self-attested copy of Class X certificate and marksheets
Self-attested copy of certificates and marksheets of Class XII
Self-attested copy of marksheets of graduation (if applying for pg)
Scanned image of migration certificate if the candidate has studied from boards other than Delhi like UP, NIOS, Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana etc
Self-attested copy of Reserve Category Certificate of the candidates belonging to ST/SC/PWD/OBC (if applicable) issued before the date of admission
Self-attested copy of AAY/BPL (if applying under financial assistance) ration card
Self-attested copy of Original Income Certificate if applying for the concession of the fee.
For online registration, it is different for UG and PG programmes. As per the ordinance of University, the registration form of DU SOL 2019 for PG has been released in the official website in the PG portal of the University of Delhi on May 03, 2019. There is a common web portal for the registration of the candidates for admission to the postgraduate courses offered by the school of open learning. Candidates need to register online on the PG official portal but the procedure for registration is the same as for UG.
Following listed steps are to be followed by applicants for registering online -
The students should visit the official website of the School of open learning at Delhi University.
For the first-time user should click on the “New Applicant Sign Up” to create the new account by clicking on the “New Registration” link.
The students need to enter the required details under the “Create New Account Page”.
Then “Create password”.
The candidates must check all the details entered are correct.
Then after checking click on the “Register” button.
Once the registration is complete, the candidates will be provided with the user name and password.
Candidates will receive a confirmation of the registration process on the email ID and registered mobile number
After the candidate is registered, Click on the tab “Continue to homepage” to continue with the application form.
Once the registration is complete, click on the “Continue to homepage” tab and the application form will appear on the screen where the candidate has to fill the following details -
Following details have to be filled by the candidate
Mother’s/Father’s/Husband’s name(if married)
Date of Birth
PAN details/Aadhar Card Number
Category (SC/ST/OBC), Person with disability (PWD), and Children/Widow of Armed Forces Personnel (CW)
After all the above details are filled candidates must click on the “Submit” button which will take them to the preview page of the application form. If the candidates need to make any changes they can click on the “Edit’ button. If all the details entered by the candidates are correct they can continue with the application process by clicking on the “Next” button.
2. Academic Details
In this section, candidates must enter their qualifying examination details
Roll number as in Class 12 and under-graduation (for PG) examination Admit Card
Year of Passing class 12 and under-graduation (for PG candidates)
Marks obtained in Class 12 and under-graduation(for PG candidates)
After all the above details are filled candidates must click on the “Submit” button which will direct them to the preview page of the application form. If the candidates need to make any changes they should click on the “Edit’ button. If all the details entered by the candidates are correct they can continue with the application process by clicking on the “Next” button.
3. Course Selection
Here candidates can select the courses they wish to apply for under any programme. Candidates can select any number of programmes. After selecting the number of programmes click on “Next” to proceed.
Here candidates need to upload the following documents
Recent Photograph should be uploaded.
Signature of the candidate.
Self-attested copy of class 10 mark sheet, 12 mark sheet, all the three years marksheets of UG and certificate.
Scanned copy of migration certificate if the candidate passed from boards other than Delhi like NIOS, Rajasthan, UP, Bihar etc.
Those students who are applying against the reserved categories such as SC/ST/PWD/OBC should submit the self-attested copy of reserved category certificate.
Those students who are applying for Financial Assistance should upload a self-attested copy of BPL ration card.
The digital size of the uploaded documents should be in the below-mentioned format -
Photograph of candidate
Greater than 4 kb and less than 24 kb with a resolution of 120-pixel height and 100-pixel width (.jpg format)
Signature of candidate
Greater than 1 kb and less than 12 kb with a resolution of 60-pixel height and 40-pixel width (.jpg format)
Marksheets of class 10, 12 and three years marksheets of UG
Less than 2MB and in pdf format.
After all the documents are uploaded candidates will be able to see a complete preview of the DU SOL 2019 Application Form. Candidates can then move on to the final step of payment of Application Fee.
5. Application Fee Payment
Candidates can pay the application fee in online mode.
The application fee for unreserved and OBC candidates is Rs 500 for each course.
For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the application fee for each course is Rs 250.
The Physically disabled category candidates are exempted from the application fee.
Note - No correction will be possible after the application fee payment is complete. No request for a change in details in the Application form of DU SOL 2019 will be entertained by the University.
After the successful payment of DU SOL 2019 application fee, the screen will display the candidate's SOL Registration Number and Fee Receipt Number will be generated as well. The candidates will then have to download and print out multiple copies of it.
7. ID Card
The candidates will then be needed to download the ID-Card which will be shown after clicking on 'Continue'
Some points to remember while filling the DU SOL Application Form 2019
The Candidates should read the following instructions carefully before filling up the admission forms for M.A. and M. Com courses under PG programme.
1. The application for admission should be filled in by the applicant in his/her own handwriting in English only.
2. The date of birth of the applicant entered in the application for admission must be the same as recorded in the Matriculation/Senior Secondary or equivalent examination certificate.
3. The name and its spellings filled in the form for admission should be the same as given in the certificate of the last examination passed, i.e. B.A./B.Com./M.A. examination or an examination equivalent thereto.
4. Subject offered for the course should be properly filled in the column provided for the purpose.
5. Information with regard to the marks obtained and the maximum marks of the last examination passed must be provided at the appropriate place in the admission form.
6. The Enrolment Number allocated by the College/University is essential to fill in the appropriate place in the admission form.
7. PwD candidates will be getting a waiver in the DU SOL application form 2019.

Hello Anurag, Yes these three subjects are fine but you need to add one more subject in order to complete the best of four percentage. The rule is that you need one subject related to the course you are applying for, one language course(most of the students have english) and other two courses you can select as any two subjects with maximum marks.
