How To Download a JAM Admit Card 2025?
Applicants who have successfully applied for the JAM can download admit cards for IIT JAM through the JOAPS portal. The JOAPS portal admit card is a key document that must be carried on the examination day. Students can also download the JAM admit card a day before the examination. Through the steps mentioned below, students can easily download the IIT JAM admit card.
Visit the IIT JAM admit card 2025 download link at jam2025.iitd.ac.in.
Click on the ‘JOAPS 2025 Candidate Portal’.
Now, enter your email id/ enrolment no./ registration number and password.
Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
The JOAPS portal admit card will display on the screen.
Download JAM admit card 2025 and take at least two copies of the admit card.

Hello,
Your exam result will still be generated after you take the IIT JAM exam .
But if you do not submit a valid EWS certificate , then:

Your EWS category benefit will be cancelled .
-
Your result may be treated as General category .
-
At the admission stage , your candidature under EWS can be rejected if the new certificate is not provided.
In some cases, the JAM office says the result will not be shown under EWS status , not that the exam result itself will disappear.
So please note:
-
Old EWS certificate is not accepted if it is not for the required financial year.
-
You must submit a new, valid EWS certificate within the given deadline to keep EWS benefits.
If possible, try to get written confirmation (email) from the JAM office to avoid confusion later.

If your IIT JAM status shows “Under Scrutiny: Defect Rectification Done”, it means your correction is submitted and under review. Keep checking your portal, once verified, it’ll change to “Accepted” or “Found Defective.” Updates usually appear within 2–3 days before the portal closes.

For IIT JAM BIOTECHNOLOGY EXAMINATION the 4 subjects are PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, MATHEMATICS AND BIOLOGY and the candidate must be graduated with other criteria. Nowhere in the eligibilities it is needed to have mathematics in +2 level.

JAM exam is conducting in english only , no hindi option is available in this exam so there is no choice to giving the IIT JAM exam in Hindi , you must have to prepare in english for IIT JAM .
