The JAM result 2026 are declared and the official cutoff is published on March 19, qualified candidates are advised to follow these steps:
Fill the Admission Form: Submit preferences for programs and institutes via the JOAPS portal in April.
Admission Lists: IIT Bombay will release four rounds of admission lists starting in May 2026.
Seat Booking Fee: Candidates offered a seat must pay a booking fee (approx. Rs 10,000 for General/OBC and Rs 5,000 for SC/ST/PwD) to "Freeze" or "Float" their choice.
Note: Students who fail to present a valid category certificate during the IIT JAM counselling 2026 will be considered as general category students.
