    The JAM result 2026 are declared and the official cutoff is published on March 19, qualified candidates are advised to follow these steps:

    • Fill the Admission Form: Submit preferences for programs and institutes via the JOAPS portal in April.

    • Admission Lists: IIT Bombay will release four rounds of admission lists starting in May 2026.

    • Seat Booking Fee: Candidates offered a seat must pay a booking fee (approx. Rs 10,000 for General/OBC and Rs 5,000 for SC/ST/PwD) to "Freeze" or "Float" their choice.

    If I submit my old EWS certificate and am unable to provide a new one, will my result not be displayed after I take the exam? Because when I called the IIT JAM office, they said that the result would not be shown.

    Your exam result will still be generated after you take the IIT JAM exam .

    But if you do not submit a valid EWS certificate , then:

    • Your EWS category benefit will be cancelled .

    • Your result may be treated as General category .

    Sir i rectified my IIT Jam mishap, but the status is still being shown as "Under Scrutiny: Defect Rectification Done" How do i know when it's approved, also the rectification Portal would close in two days on 13th Novembe. So how do I know if my issue has been resolved or not

    If your IIT JAM status shows “Under Scrutiny: Defect Rectification Done”, it means your correction is submitted and under review. Keep checking your portal, once verified, it’ll change to “Accepted” or “Found Defective.” Updates usually appear within 2–3 days before the portal closes.

    I have not maths in class12 can I eligible for iit jam biotechnology

    For IIT JAM BIOTECHNOLOGY EXAMINATION the 4 subjects are PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, MATHEMATICS AND BIOLOGY and the candidate must be graduated with other criteria. Nowhere in the eligibilities it is needed to have mathematics in +2 level.

    I don't know English...how I prepare for jam exam....

    Hello dear candidate ,

    JAM exam is conducting in english only , no hindi option is available in this exam so there is no choice to giving the IIT JAM exam in Hindi , you must have to prepare in english for IIT JAM .
