The NIRF calculates the ranking of the institutions based on the parameters such as Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practise (RP), Graduation Outcome (GO), Outreach & Inclusivity (OI), and Perception (PR). The rankings are done based on the maximum cumulative scores obtained by the NIRF parameters and sub-parameters.
The NIRF sub-parameters are the specific categories on which the parameters are prepared to calculate the scores of the institutions. The list of NIRF sub-parameters is given below.

Delhi University colleges scores better in most of the parameters compared to other colleges from the NIRF ranking of top 10 colleges. The cumulative of the total parameters helps DU colleges to stay in the top 10 colleges of NIRF ranking list. In the above mentioned table, Hindu College and Miranda House have scored more marks in teaching, learning and resources (TLR), outreach and inclusivity (OI), and perception (PR), compared to the other colleges of NIRF top 10 colleges list. The cumulative of TLR, OI and PR adds up to 50% of the weightage for the NIRF rankings.
In the case of GO and RP, Hindu College has a total score of 66.92 in RP and 88.89 in GO. Whereas, Rama Krishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College has a total score of 73.04 in RP and 93.34 in GO. However, Rama Krishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College is ranked 6th in NIRF 2025 rankings. While, Hindu College is ranked at first position in the NIRF college rankings 2025. Based on the NIRF parameters, RP and GO holds 50% weightage in the NIRF rankings.
Despite low scores in Research and Professional Practise (RP), and Graduation Outcome (GO) for Hindu College compared to Rama Krishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College. Hindu College still holds the upper hand in the NIRF 2025 college rankings. The difference of TLC, OI, and PR is greater than the difference of RP and GP between Hindu College and Rama Krishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College. Region Diversity measures the number of students enrolled from various states and countries. The Region Diversity (RD) of an institution is calculated based on the formula given below.
RD = 25 X fraction of the no. of students enrolled from other states + 5 X fraction of the no. of students enrolled from other countries.
Perception (PR) - Perception is one of the main parameters which help in the NIRF ranking of the institutions. Perception is based on the participation in academic forums, guest lectures, alumni networks, and digital campaigns.

Hi! CUET UG 2025 will be conducted in May–June 2025 in computer-based mode across multiple shifts. Registration is open from March 1–22, 2025, with corrections allowed from March 24–26. It is for students completing Class 12 or equivalent, and eligibility may vary by university. The exam has Language, Domain-Specific Subjects, and General Test sections. Admit cards will be released in May, and results are expected in June 2025, followed by university counseling.

Yes, you can give CUET exam 2026 if you want to take admission in second year of BA program. The Entrance Test (CUET) is for admission to undergraduate courses. However , the eligibility for the CUET UG exam will be based on your class 12th qualifications.
You will need to keep in mind like if you get admission to the new institution based on your CUET score then don't forget to cancel your enrollment number or admission at your current college.

Admission to these courses is primarily based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main scores. However, some courses may also consider CUET (Common University Entrance Test) scores for admission.
