To apply for BHU UG admission 2026, candidates must meet the eligibility,ity criteria, which differ for each course. To take admission in the UG courses, one must fulfill the following criteria. An applicant who has completed/ is appearing in Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent.
They must secure 50% of marks in their last qualifying examination.
Must qualify for the CUET 2026 exam in the respective domain subject.
The university will release the BHU 2026 application form in July. Candidates should fill out the BHU CUET UG admission form, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee.

Step 2: Fill the BHU UG 2026 application form
In this section, the candidates should enter all their identity details and correct any mistakes.
Some of the details in the application form will be pre-populated from the details submitted during registration.

Now, fill out all the personal details, academic details, and other details.

After completing the BHU UG application process, aspirants have to fill out the preference entry form. Candidates must log in to their BHU UG CAP 2026 dashboard to select the programmes they wish to pursue if allotted. For admission, Banaras Hindu University will utilise the CUET UG 2026 scores provided by NTA to calculate Program-Specific merit scores. Candidates will be able to view their Program-Specific CUET scores for all eligible programmes. These CUET UG scores will be automatically calculated and displayed on the candidates' dashboard.

If you mean that you are in your second year of a BA program and want to appear for CUET PG 2026, then yes you can take the exam.
