To apply for BHU UG admission 2026, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, which differ for each course. To take admission in the UG courses, one must fulfill the following criteria. An applicant who has completed/ is appearing in Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent.
They must secure 50% of marks in their last qualifying examination.
Must qualify for the CUET 2026 exam in the respective domain subject.
The university has closed the BHU 2026 application form on July 27. Candidates should fill out the BHU CUET UG admission form, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee.
Step 1: Registration
Visit the official website of BHU online at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in.
Under the UG admission registration tab, select 'Click Here to Apply'.
Then log in using your BHU UG login credentials.
After that, enter the email ID and password.
Now, click on the "Submit" tab.

Step 2: Fill the BHU UG 2026 application form
In this section, the candidates should enter all their identity details and correct any mistakes.
Some of the details in the application form will be pre-populated from the details submitted during registration.
Select the desired course.
Now, fill out all the personal details, academic details, and other details.
Review all filled details before clicking the "Final Submit" button.

In this section, the candidates should upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature as per the prescribed dimensions.
Click on "Upload Images" and upload the required documents in the given specification.

After completing the BHU UG application process, aspirants have to fill out the preference entry form. Candidates must log in to their BHU UG CAP 2026 dashboard to select the programmes they wish to pursue if allotted. For admission, Banaras Hindu University will utilise the CUET UG 2026 scores provided by NTA to calculate Program-Specific merit scores. Candidates will be able to view their Program-Specific CUET scores for all eligible programmes. These CUET UG scores will be automatically calculated and displayed on the candidates' dashboard.
Registered candidates could edit the details of their BHU UG admission from 2026 from July 28 to 30. The applicants can edit or modify only certain details in the BHU UG registration form. Students cannot modify their personal information, including their mobile number, email ID, and address, in the BHU application form.

The university has released the BHU spot round 2 merit list 2026 CUET UG on August 30. The BHU merit list contains the names of all the selected students along with their category and marks. The BHU 2026 merit list is available on the Samarth BHU portal.
The candidates who have scored the cut-off marks need to pay the admission fee and complete the BHU counselling process to claim their seats.
