Candidates must download the IP University 2023 provisional admission letter after the release of seat allotment results. Candidates who meet eligibility criteria of IP University will be allowed to participate in the seat allotment process on a provisional basis. IP University will conduct online counselling 2023 for courses like M.A English, M.A Criminology, M.Sc Environmental Management, and others. IP University will offer offline counselling for courses such as B.Arch, MPO, MPT, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Yoga, and M.Sc Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Design. As part of IP University counselling, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will conduct three rounds, including sliding round and spot counselling/open house counselling. Candidates must also meet the eligibility requirements of the entrance exam.

Candidates aspiring to take admissions in IP University must understand the type of rounds in IP University seat allotment. There are a total of three rounds in IP University seat allotment: Final Round, Sliding Round and the IP University spot round.
Once the last round of seat allotment is over, candidates will neither be allowed to withdraw from their alloted seats, nor are they eligible for any refund of the fees they have submitted. Candidates who have paid the fees but have not frozen their alloted seats will automatically be eligible for the Sliding Round.
The Sliding round is entirely based on merit, as per the preference of the candidate.
The IP University spot round is conducted only if there are any vacant seats left. Candidates please note that no seat withdrawal or fees refund is allowed in the spot round.
IP University 2023 seats will only be allocated to candidates who pay the fee and freeze their seats to prove their interest in the allotted seat. By freezing their seats, candidates ensure that their seats will not be made available for the next round of IP University counselling. As soon as a seat has been frozen, the academic fee must be paid.In addition, candidates can withdraw their seats if they wish, by logging into their accounts and requesting a withdrawal. Fees submitted by the candidate will be reimbursed to his/her account after the deduction of Rs. 1000. Open house IP University counselling will also be available to these candidates. Students must bring all required documents to their college of choice so that they can be verified. A student can claim IP University 2023 admission as soon as the remainder of the payment is made and the applicant has been deemed eligible by university officials.
To avoid the disqualification applicants must remember the following points about IP University counselling. However, these candidates are considered eligible to appear for the IP University 2023 spot counselling.
Applicants who failed to pay the or have not submitted the counselling participation fee.
Candidates who have not registered themselves but made the fee payment for counselling participation.
Applicants who submitted the fee for counselling participation and even registered themselves but have not entered their choices/preferences.
Candidates who were allotted a seat in one of the counselling rounds but they did not make the part academic fees payment of Rs. 40,000. These candidates will not be eligible to appear for the next rounds of counselling.
Those candidates who were allocated a seat in one of the counselling rounds and also remitted the part academic fee of Rs. 40,000 but then decided to withdraw the admission.
IP University seat allocation is based on choice filling.
From a list of all possible combinations, candidates will be able to select their preferred institute and course.
In order to increase their chances of receiving a seat in the IP University seat allocation, candidates are encouraged to fill out as many choices as possible.
After the subsequent round of seat allocation, users can edit or modify their preferences of candidates in the web portal.
Candidates who wish to withdraw their alloted seats at the IPU and take refund of the partial fees that they have submitted must know these details. Candidates who have deposited the part fees, can withdraw the admission against their allotted seat at the IP University. In that case they can simply apply for a withdrawal within the scheduled date. An amount of Rs. 3000/- will be deducted and the rest of the amount will be refunded to the student.
