• Candidates must be seated according to their roll number at their respective assigned computer system.

• The online test will have multiple choice questions only except for M.A programmes.

• A total of 100 objective-type questions will be included in the test paper for all CETs. Each question will have four alternatives marked (1), (2), (3), and (4).

• There will be four marks for each multiple choice question. Incorrect answers will carry a negative marking. For each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.

• The IPU CET 2023 will be conducted only in English, with the exception of the B.ED test, which is administered in both English and Hindi.

• Under no circumstances will the University offer a retest to anyone who is unable to appear on the scheduled test date. Fees cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

• It is advised that candidates report to their examination centers on or before the reporting time as mentioned on the E-Admit Card, so that entry formalities, such as biometrics and frisking can take place prior to the allocation of computer nodes for examinations.Entry gates to examination centers will be closed 30 minutes before the Computer Based Test begins. Late comers will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
