The Common University Entrance Test is dated to be held from May 13 to June 3 in computer-based test. With the release of the CUET admit card 2025 on May 10 for exams between May 13 to 16, the NTA has released a set of instructions that students must follow on the exam day. The CUET exam day instructions inform the students about all what to do and not to do at the exam centre. The CUET exam guidelines 2025 give students a clear idea about what to bring to the centre along with the admit card and any other special instructions they need to follow.
As the CUET 2025 starts from May 13, aspirants are advised to ensure these instructions are followed:
Download and print the admit card (both pages): Take multiple copies of CUET admit card 2025 in case one gets damaged or you have to submit one at the exam centre.
Visit exam centre location in advance: It is important to visit the exam centre at least 2 hours in advance to clear the security in time. In case of students wearing religious attire or if they belong to PwD category, they are advised to be present at the centre 3 hours before clear the security with time in hand.
Keep required documents ready: Students must keep all the essentials handy such as admit card, valid photo ID, and photos to avoid losing time at the security check.
Set alarms and plan transport: Based on the distance of the exam centre from your residence, it is important to plan how you would go there and plan the commute ahead.
Sleep well the night before: Goodf rest affect the performance in thene exam. Make sure you get plenty of it.
Don’t rely on a digital admit card: The digital copies of your CUET admit card 2025 will not be accepted by the security personnel. Students must present the printed copies of CUET admit card 2025 you will not be allowed to enter the centre with any electronic devices.
Don’t forget passport-size photos and thumb impression area: You will also be required to show your passport size photo similar top the one in your application and give your left thumb impression to the invigilator.
Don’t assume your subject paper will be correct: Since multiple papers may be held in the same centre, at the same time it is advised to verify which paper is being held first. You may ask the invigilators or the security personels.

Listen carefully to invigilators’ instructions
Sit at the allotted seat only
Use the rough sheets provided (don’t bring your own)
Maintain silence and discipline
Use left-hand thumb impression where asked
Avoid any form of unfair means
Don’t talk to other candidates
Don’t leave the exam hall before time
Don’t argue with staff or invigilators
Carry PwD certificate (original and photocopies)
Arrange your scribe (if needed) as per the guidelines
Claim compensatory time with proper approval
Note: Students are advised to stay calm even if any problems occur and try to resolve the issue with proper procedure.
