The National Testing Agency conducts the Graduate Aptitude Test - Biotechnology (GAT B entrance exam) every year to offer admission to various biotechnology courses. The GAT B 2026 eligibility shows the minimum academic and other requirements students must fulfil to be allowed to appear for the exam. The GAT B 2026 eligibility criteria vary depending on the course. Only those who fulfil the GAT B 2026 eligibility can submit out the registration form.

It is important to check the GAT B 2026 exam pattern before appearing for the exam. As per the GAT B pattern, the exam duration is three hours, consisting of objective type questions with a total of 160 questions in total, each carrying four marks. There are negative marking in GAT B exam.

The GAT B exam pattern mentions the structure defined by the GATB. Students earn 1 and 3 marks for each accurate response in Section A and B respectively but face a 0.5 and 1 mark deduction for every incorrect answer in section A and B. There is no penalty for unattempted questions in GAT B exam 2026.

The link for GAT B admit card 2026 will be activated in April. There are several important information mentioned in the admit card of GAT B 2026 entrance exam such as exam centre details, exam date of the entrance exam, time, instructions for the exam and other details. It is mandatory for students to bring a printed copy of GAT B test admit card 2026, as no candidates are allowed to enter the exam centre without a valid admit card.

The university will publish the GAT B provisional answer key 2026 in April. Students can compare their GAT B 2026 answer key with their own responses and get an estimated score for the exam. For any errors spotted in GAT B answer key, students can raise objections during the answer key objection window.
The GATB will announce the result of GAT B exam 2026 in June. Candidates can check the result of GAT B by visiting the official website at dbt.nta.ac.in. The candidates are required to enter their login credentials such as GAT B application number and date of birth to download the GAT B 2026 result in the form of a scorecard for the candidates to download.
Students who have secured qualifying marks in GAT B exam 2026 are required to attend the counselling process to confirm their seats. The GAT B 2026 counselling session is divided into parts such as registration, seat allotment and paying the seat confirmation fees. Students who have been allotted seats are required to visit the university campus and complete the physical verification, followed by the payment of admission fees to secure their seats.

IIT JAM is a common entrance test if you want to get admission for master’s courses such as MSc, Integrated Ph.D., Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD Dual Degree. While GATE examination is a national level exam which aims at providing admissions in the master of technology such as ME, MTech, Ph.D. courses.
JAM Score Card is valid for 1 year while the GATE Exam scores are valid upto 3 years starting from the date of announcement of the result.
GATE scores are only valid for postgraduate admissions and not for PSU recruitment.

On August 8, the National Testing Agency (NTA) published the GAT B 2021 admission card at dbt.nta.ac.in. On August 3, the NTA ended the GAT-B 2021 application correction window .
The GAT-B 2021 exam pattern is mandatory watching for applicants preparing for the entrance exam. The GAT-B exam pattern 2021 contains important information about the test, such as the question paper section, the kind and quantity of questions, and so on. The GAT-B 2021 question paper is broken into two parts: Part A and Part B.
Part A comprises 60 required multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chem, Maths, and Bio at the Class 12 level. Part B consists of 100 Bachelor's level multiple choice problems that demand critical thinking and analysis.
The duration of the test is 3hrs

GAT-B 2021 is scheduled on August 14, 2021. There isn't any official announcement regarding the admit card. Since exam is after 9 days from today the admit card will be released anytime soon.
