Panjab University Admission Form 2019 – The Panjab University, Chandigarh, will release Panjab University 2019 admission form in the first week of March 2019 for UG courses. For postgraduate courses, the PUCET application form 2019 will be released in the second week of April 2019. The admission form for Panjab University 2019 will be released in online mode for both UG and PG courses. The last date to submit the form is last week of March 2019 for UG courses and second week of May 2019 for PG courses. Candidates who wish to take the entrance test and get admissions into the PG and UG courses of the university need to fill the Panjab University admission form 2019. They can fill the PUCET application form by clicking on the official link given in this page. Candidates must fill in all the mandatory fields in the PUCET admission form 2019 and not leave any field blank. Panjab University Admission 2019 - Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the application form of Panjab University 2019, PUCET 2019 candidates should carefully go through the eligibility criteria for all UG and PG courses. If a candidate is found to be not complying with the eligibility criteria, his/her applications will be cancelled irrespective of the stage of admission.

MA in Geography

1)    Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% as minimum aggregate

2)    Passed B.A./B.Sc. with at least 45% in

3)    Postgraduate diploma in Cartography with at least second division

Masters in Disaster Management

1)      Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% as minimum aggregate

Masters in Remote Sensing and GIS

1)      Bachelor’s degree in Geography/Geophysics/Geology/Math/Physics/Environment Science/Botany/Urban Planning/Computer Science/Regional Planning/BCA or master’s degree in Geography/MCA with 50% as aggregate

2)      The students of B.A./B.Sc./M.A./M.Sc. Geography will be given 15% of the academic score in bachelor’s level as extra weight age

M.A. History

1)    B.A. (Hons.) History, or

2)    B.A. degree in any discipline with 50% as the minimum aggregate, or

3)    B.A./B.Sc. Pass exam in full subjects securing a minimum of 45% in the History subject, or

4)    M.A. in any discipline

M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry

1)    B.Sc. with Maths and Chemistry as core subjects, or

Master of Entrepreneurship and Family Business

1)    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% from a university recognized by the syndicate, or

2)    Pass in the final exam conducted by ICAI, ICMAI, and ICSI

M.Com. (Hons.)

1)    B.Com./B.Com. (Hons.)/BBA with a minimum aggregate of 45%, or

2)    Honours in Economics or Mathematics or Commerce or Statistics with a minimum aggregate of 45%, or

3)    Pass in the final exam conducted by ICAI, ICMAI, and ICSI, or

1)    B. P. Ed. or an equivalent degree with at least 50% marks, or

2)    B.Sc. in Health and Physical Education with a minimum aggregate of 50%, or

3)    Any other degrees equivalent to 1) and 2) recognised by the syndicate

M.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics

1)      B.A./B.Sc. With 50% (Gen) and 45% (SC/ST/BC/PWD) in Mathematics from a recognized university.

2)      Students who passed their bachelor’s in Mathematics from Panjab University need not appear for the entrance exam.

Their admission will be subject to relevant rules of the university.

M.Sc. (Hons.) Physics

1)      B.Sc. (Pass or Hons.) exam from PU or any equivalent exam recognized by the Panjab University with at least 50% (Gen) and 45% (SC/ST/BC/PWD) with Physics and Mathematics as elective subjects

M.Sc. (Hons.) Physics and Electronics

1)    B.Sc. (pass or Hons.) exam with Physics and Maths as elective subjects, or

2)    B.Sc. (electronics) or B.Tech./B.E. (Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/equivalent)

3)    For all the qualifications, candidates must have secured 50% marks (Gen) and 45% (SC/ST/PWD/BC) as minimum aggregate from PU or in any equivalent exam recognised by PU

 

M.Sc. (Hons.) Biophysics

1)    B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biophysics from Panjab University or B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology from Panjab University or any other equivalent examination recognized by PU, or

2)    B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, or any subject from life sciences in all the three years of graduation.

M.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry

1)    B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry from Panjab University, or

2)    B.Sc. (Hons. or pass) from PU or any other university recognized by PU with 50% marks with Chemistry in all the three years and any two science subjects in two years of graduation

M.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology

1)    B.Sc. in Biotechnology with 50%, or

2)    B.Sc. with Biotechnology with 50% marks as an elective or vocational subject studied for all the three years in graduation

M.Sc. (Hons.) Geology

1)      B.Sc. with Geology as a subject with 50% marks as aggregate and 50% separately in Geology

M.Sc. (Hons.) Biochemistry

1)      B.Sc. (Hons.) Biochemistry or equivalent, or

Biotechnology

1)      Bachelor’s degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Pharmaceutical, Fishery sciences or veterinary sciences, or,

2)      Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology/medicine (MBBS)/Home Science from any university/institute recognized by PU.

3)      For all the qualifications, candidate must have scored a minimum of 55% marks

Botany

1)      B.Sc. Pass with Botany from PU or university recognized by PU with 50% as minimum aggregate

Physics

1)    B.Sc. Hons. From PU in Physics, or

2)    B.Sc. Examination of PU or any other university recognised by PU syndicate with 50% (Gen) and 45% (SC/ST/PWD/BC) in aggregate with Physics and Mathematics along with any of these subjects – Biochemistry, Botany, Geology, Chemistry, Statistics, Zoology, Physics

Chemistry

1)    B.Sc. exam of PU or any other university recognised by syndicate with a minimum aggregate of 50% with Chemistry and Mathematics along with any Science subject (if candidates did not have Maths in B.Sc., they will have to pass an additional Maths paper with at least 40% in the first year), or

2)    B.Sc. pass degree under the regulations of old B.Sc. degree awarded by the syndicate on the subject of M.Sc. course on the recommendation of the Board of Control, or

3)    B.Sc. exam with aggregate of 50% marks from any university recognized by the syndicate as equivalent to (1), or

4)    B.Sc. (Hons.) exam of Panjab University or any other equivalent university in Chemistry

Medical Physics

1)    B.Sc. regular with Physics as a core subject which should be studied for three years at graduation level and Maths as one of the subjects which should be studied for minimum two years.

Forensic Science and Criminology

1)      B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.) with 50% marks as aggregate in Forensic Science, or

2)      3/4/5 years of any degree in Faculty of Science, Engineering, Pharmaceutical science, Medical or dental of PU or any other university recognized by PU with 55% (Gen) and 50% (SC/ST/PWD/BC)

Nuclear Medicine

1)    B.Sc. from a recognised university with Physics and Chemistry (non medical stream), or Zoology/Biotechnology and Chemistry (medical streams) as core subjects

2)    Candidates having B.Sc. degree in Biophysics/Nuclear medicine will also be eligible

3)    B.Sc.in medical technology/X-Ray or B.Sc. through correspondence or open university will not be eligible

Zoology

1)      B.Sc. with Zoology with a minimum aggregate of 50% from PU or any other university recognized by the syndicate

Microbial Technology

1)      Bachelor’s degree in any field of Biological Sciences including Biotechnology

Environment Science

1)    B.Sc. in any stream, or

How to Fill Panjab University Admission Form 2019

Given below are detailed steps to fill the application form of PUCET 2019. Candidates may refer to these steps while filling their forms.

  • Candidates need to click on the official link given below to start filling the admission form for Panjab University 2019.

  • Upon clicking on the link, candidates will be required to register themselves by providing important details.

  • Upon completion of the registration process, they will get a login ID and password. Candidates are required to retain the credentials as they will be required during the entire admission process.

  • Candidates will then have to take a print out of the bank slip.

  • This online generated bank slip will have to be submitted by the candidates in any SBI branch. They should be able to submit the fees along with the fee slip within one day after printing the slip. The PUCET fee breakup for all categories and courses is given below.
