HSEE Eligibility Criteria - Minimum Marks for IIT Madras HSEE 2019
The General and OBC categories candidates need to secure at least 60 per cent marks in aggregate of the subjects at the 10+2 board examination or equivalent qualifying examination. Further, those who belong to SC, ST and PwD categories need to secure a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate of the subjects at the qualifying examination to be considered eligible for HSEE 2019.
HSEE Eligibility Criteria - Age Cap for IIT Madras HSEE 2019
According to the HSEE 2019 eligibility criteria, the General and OBC categories candidates applying for HSEE 2019 need to be born on or after October 1, 1994. Further, the candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories will be offered an age relaxation of five years as per the HSEE eligibility criteria 2019, which means the reserved category candidates born on or after October 1, 1989, will be considered eligible to apply for HSEE 2019.
Candidates may note that the High School Examination Certificate (Class 10th Board Examination Passing Certificate) will be referred for ensuring eligibility criteria of HSEE 2019. Those who fail to submit the Class 10th Board Passing Certificate in a claim of their age along with the HSEE 2019 application form will be deemed disqualified from the HSEE 2019 admission process.
HSEE Eligibility Criteria - Who else are eligible for IIT Madras HSEE 2019?
The candidates who are in the final year of their 10+2 examination system will also be considered eligible for HSEE 2019 provided they meet the minimum academic qualification and age required as per the HSEE 2019 eligibility criteria.
Candidates who have qualified their Class 12 board examination outside India will also be considered eligible for HSEE 2019 provided they produce a certificate from AIU claiming their academic qualification.
Those who have qualified the 12th board examination as private candidates, according to the HSEE 2019 eligibility criteria, they need to have at least qualified their 10th board examination through a public examination system.

How to fill HSEE 2019 Application Form
HSEE 2019 Online Registration - The candidates, as the first step, in order to fill the application form of HSEE 2019 will require an online registration. Candidates need to log in through the official link of HSEE 2019 given below in this page. The online registration for HSEE 2019 application require filling-in the mandatory information including name, email address and mobile number. Once the HSEE application registration is over, candidates will receive a confirmation mail in the inbox of email and message box of mobile number mentioning the HSEE 2019 registration number and password. Name of the candidate
Candidate should provide their actual name as recorded in the Class 10th Passing Certificate/Marksheet. The name should be entered in capital letters and between first, middle and last name, one block gap should be left.
Name of Parents/Guardian
Candidate should mention the name of parents/guardian exactly the same as provided in Class 10th Passing Certificate/Marksheet.
Candidates should choose the respective category from the drop-down menu mentioning General, OBC-NCL, SC and ST categories. The category will not be changed, once filled.
Persons with Disability
The candidates who have a 40 per cent impairment either locomotor or visual, they will be considered under PwD category.

Submitting HSEE 2019 Application Form - The candidates after paying the application fee of HSEE 2019 need to submit the form in online mode only. The candidates are advised to verify all the entered details in the HSEE application form before clicking on ‘Submit’ button. IIT Madras has released HSEE 2019 admit card on March 20, 2019 in online mode. The candidates can download their e-admit card of HSEE 2019 by logging into their HSEE candidate accounts. The HSEE admit card mentions the candidature as well as examination details of HSEE 2019. The candidates in their downloaded HSEE 2019 admit card can find the various examination particulars including HSEE 2019 exam date, timing, duration of exam and exam centre address, besides the candidate’s name, application number, date of birth, photograph and signature. It is advised that the candidates need to verify the examination as well as personal particulars printed on the admit card of HSEE 2019. In case of any discrepancy, the candidates can bring this into the notice of HSEE officials by contacting them via phone, fax or e-mail and get them rectified. The candidates can go through the syllabus of HSEE 2019 to get a fair idea about what to study and how much to prepare for the IIT Madras administered Humanities and Social Science Examination. According to the HSEE syllabus 2019, the candidates need to prepare for subjects of English, General Studies Analytical Ability and Qualitative Ability. IIT Madras has mentioned the important topics of these subjects as HSEE 2019 syllabus. Candidates through the given syllabus of HSEE 2019 will be able to prepare for the examination in a more better way.
IIT Madras has determined HSEE exam pattern 2019 for the examination scheduled to be held on April 21, 2019. The candidates who are to appear for the Humanities and Social Science Entrance Examination need to go through the exam pattern of HSEE 2019 in order to get an overview of the examination. According to the HSEE 2019 exam pattern, the IIT Madras examination will have two parts- Part I and Part II and will be conducted for three hours time-duration. The Part I of HSEE 2019 paper will be of 150 minutes administered through computer mode. The Part II further will be held in offline mode for 30 minutes. The Part I will have questions from the following sections- English and Comprehension Skill, Analytical and Quantitative Ability, General Studies, and Environment and Ecology. The Part II will test the knowledge of writing skills via Essay Writing on a general topic. HSEE 2019 questions will be provided in English language only.

Candidates may note that there is no definitive marks, HSEE 2019 marking scheme and negative marking mentioned in the official brochure for the IIT Madras administered Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination.
The IIT Madras may publish HSEE answer key 2019 after the conduct of entrance examination. The HSEE answer key, if announced, may be published in online mode in two phases. The first phased answer key of HSEE 2019 will be a provisional and the second-phase will be HSEE final answer key. However, till last year, no answer key of HSEE 2019 has been released. The Indian Institute of Technology Madras has announced HSEE 2019 result in the form of merit list. The result of HSEE 2019 can also be considered as HSEE merit list which will be accounted for shortlisting candidates on the basis of their performance in the IIT Madras administered HSEE 2019. According to the HSEE admission process, IIT Madras has announced the result of HSEE 2019 for all those candidates who have appeared for the entrance examination. However, the merit list of HSEE 2019 will be prepared which will mention the names of those candidates who have scored more than the HSEE cutoff marks. Candidates who meet the qualifying cutoff marks have been allotted a seat in IIT Madras as per the HSEE counselling process 2019. Candidates who will be called for HSEE counselling need to get their documents verified at the time of allocation of seats in IIT Madras.
