COGJET 2026 Counselling - Important details

• To apply for the Masters' programme in Cognitive Science at CBCS, you need to have a valid COGJET or GATE score.

• Admission are  based on the COGJET/GATE score and the interview.

• All students with a COGJET and/or GATE score will be called for an interview based on their score.

• Candidates are required to bring a physical copy of the filled-in application form and any additional documents to the interview/admission.

• Interviews for COGJET 2026 will be held in offline mode in May or early June.

Documents Required in COGJET Counselling 2026

• CV with academic details with scanned annexures

• COGJET counselling letter.

• Marksheet of Graduation.

• Certificate of Graduation.

• Marksheet of last semester attempted (if pursuing final year).

Candidates applying for the COGJET 2026 exam must make sure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria of the entrance test. It is mandatory that the candidates have completed their 3 year/ 4 year undergraduate programme in a relevant field in order to be eligible for this COGJET entrance examination 2026. Applicants who are studying in their final year degree programme are also eligible to apply for COGJET registration 2026, given that they complete their degree by June 2026. Candidates who fail to fulfil the COGJET admission criteria 2026, will be disqualified from the COGJET 2026 application process.

COGJET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

IIIT Hyderabad has released the COGJET 2026 application form on December 26, 2025 at cogjet2026.in. The last date to fill out the COGJET 2026 application form will be on January 31. Follow the steps below to fill out the application form.

• Visit the official portal of COGJET 2026

• Enter the login ID and password to log in.

• Enter all the details such as personal and academic details.

• Upload all the required documents.

• Complete the payment of COGJET fees.

• Review COGJET application 2026 and click on “Submit” button.

• Take a printout of the COGJET form 2026 and save for future reference.

Candidates appearing for the COGJET 2026 entrance test must be aware of the exam pattern of COGJET 2026. The COGJET test 2026 consists of 40 multiple choice questions, from subjects such as Cognitive Psychology, Neuroscience, Mathematics, Linguistics, and programming in addition to General Reasoning.

The conducting body will announce the COGJET 2026 result in the form of a merit list in March. Candidates can check the COGJET 2026 test result by visiting the official website.  The qualified students can apply for the COGJET 2026 counselling process based on the cutoff marks.

Along with the result, the institution will also release the cut-offs.  The COGJET test cutoff 2026 defines the minimum marks required for admission to a number of Cognitive Science programmes.
