RMLAU Entrance Exam 2025: Application Form (Out), Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus

The eligibility criteria for RMLAU LLB entrance exam 2026 are given below. Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the given requirements to be allowed to sit for the examination and considered for further rounds in the admission process. 

LLB (Three Years) 

• Candidates should have graduated with at least an aggregate of 45% (in case of General category) and 40% (in case of SC/ST category). 

LLB (Five Years)

• Candidates need to have cleared their intermediate with a minimum aggregate of 45% (in case of General and OBC categories) and 40% (in case of SC/ST candidates).

M.A. Economics & Rural Development

• Candidates should have a B.A. degree with Economics as one of the subjects
• Or a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics
• Or a B.com. degree 
• Or a BBA degree

M.A. History, Culture & Archaeology

• Candidates need to have a B.A. degree with Medieval and Modern history/ ancient history.

M.A. Ext. Education & Rural Development

• Candidates need to be graduate in any discipline.

M.A. Mass Communication and Journalism

• Candidates should be graduate in any discipline

M.Sc. Physics 

• Candidates need to have a B.Sc. degree with Physics. 

M.Sc. Mathematics (Statistics)

•  Candidates need to have a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics.

M.Sc. Biochemistry

• To be eligible, candidates need to have a B.Sc. degree in any discipline of Life Sciences with Chemistry or Biochemistry as one of the subjects.

M.Sc. Microbiology 

• Candidates need to have a B.Sc. degree in any discipline related to Biological Sciences with any of the following subjects - Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology. They should have studied these subjects for at least two years at graduation level. The minimum aggregate to be secured by the candidates is 50% (in case of General category candidates) and 45% (in case of SC/ST category candidates).  

M.Sc. Electronics

• Candidates should have done their B.Sc. with Physics or Electronics.

M.Sc. Environmental Science

• A B.Sc. degree in any discipline of Life Sciences is required by candidates to be eligible.

M.Sc. Biotechnology

• Candidates require a B.Sc. degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% (in case of General candidates) and 45%  (SC/ST candidates).  

Candidates seeking admissions into the LLM programme offered by the university should go through the eligibility criteria of  RMLAU LLM entrance 2026. They should proceed with the application form only after making sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates require to have passed LLB (Three/Five years) with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University has released the RMLAU 2025 UG and PG application form on May 1on its official website. Candidates who are interested in taking admission into UG and PG  courses at RMLAU are required to fill and submit the RMLAU admission form before the deadline.  To apply for the entrance test, candidates will be required to first register online and then fill out the RMLAU application form. Aspirants have to fill all the details in application form of RMLAU such as personal, academic and contact details.

• Visit the official website of the university.

• Click on the official link to fill the RMLAU application form. 

• Next, click on the pre-registration button.

• A registration form will appear on the screen. Now, candidates have to enter key details such as candidate's name, father's name, DOB, mobile number, Aadhaar number, category, course name, and so on.  

• After entering the details, click on the 'submit' tab. Then, accept the condition and click on the 'submit' tab. 

• After the registration, candidates will receive a unique registration number. 

• Now, candidates have to pay the application fees in online mode via two ways - Credit card/Debit card or net banking. 

• Once the payment is done, he/she will receive a transaction ID which should be retained till the admission process is over. 

• Next, candidates will be directed to the application form where they have to submit various details such as names, gender, category, date of birth, nationality, academic qualifications, and so on. Then, they need to upload their photograph and signature in the following specifications -

• After entering all the details and uploading the required documents, he/she should check and make sure that all the mentioned details are correct or not. After previewing, he/she needs to click on the 'submit' tab. 

• Now, the RMLAU entrance exam application form will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to print out of the application form for future reference and retain it till the admission is over. 

• The application form will also include the candidate's registration number which should be retained by him/her till the admission is over. 

• Candidates also have to submit a printout of the application form or of the payment slip to the university.

RMLAU Entrance Exam Pattern 2025 - Marking Scheme

• For each correct answer, three marks will be given. 

• For each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.

• For questions where candidates encircle more than one oval as an answer, one mark will be deducted.  

Important Instructions  

• Candidates have to write their roll number, answer booklet number and their answers using a black ball point pen.

• Those questions for which the candidate encircles more than oval will be treated incorrectly. 

• Candidates are prohibited from writing anything elsewhere on the answer sheet.

The university will issue the RMLAU hall ticket 2025 on its official website. Aspirants who have successfully completed the registration process for RMLAU entrance exam can download their admit card by using their login credentials.  The  RMLAU 2025 admit card will contain important information such as the candidate's name, photograph, date of birth, roll number, signature, and category. • Then, click on the 'show admit card' button. 

• Now, RMLAU entrance exam admit card 2025 will be displayed on the screen. 

• Download and print out the admit card, and retain it till the time of admissions.

The university will declare the RMLAU 2025 result on its official website in the form of a provisional merit list. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam can check their RMLAU result by logging into the login portal with their login details. The RMLAU results 2025 will contain details such as the candidate's name, roll number, category rank, and overall merit rank. The RMLAU merit list will be prepared based on the results.

RMLAU 2025 Merit List

The Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University will publish the RMLAU merit list on its official website. The merit list of RMLAU will be based on the results of the entrance exam and will include the names and rankings of the successful applicants. Candidates whose names appear on the RMLAU merit list will be eligible to get admission at various UG and PG programmes at Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University.

Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University will conduct the RMLAU counselling after the declaration of the merit list. Candidates whose names appeared in the RMLAU 2025 merit list have to read the counselling process  and familiarise themselves with the steps they need to take in order to participate in the counselling. Candidates have to pay the RMLAU counselling fee and submit the necessary documents to get admission to their selected course.
