The CG PAT 2026 was held in offline mode for the students to take admission in the BSc Agriculture and Horticulture courses. There are 21 universities across the states that participate in the CG PAT to take admission of aspirants. The CG PAT merit list is prepared based on the entrance exam. The shortlisted candidates should attend the CG PAT counselling 2026 to get admission.
CG PAT is a state-level exam for admission to agricultural courses offered by recognised institutes in the state of Chhattisgarh. Every year, the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board conducts the Chhattisgarh Pre-Agriculture Test (CG PAT). The test is held annually at the state level to provide admission to colleges offering Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agri.) and Bachelor of Horticulture (B.Horti.) programmes. Aspirants for the CG PAT entrance exam are shortlisted based on the CG PAT 2026 merit list. The three-hour entrance exam is pen-paper based.

CG PAT Chhattisgarh Pre-Agriculture Test (session 2026)
Candidates taking the CG PAT should check the CG PAT 2026 eligibility requirements for their desired programmes and universities. Candidates must have a minimum education qualification of higher secondary or equivalent examination in Science stream or Life Sciences/Agricultural Sciences, and Agricultural Mathematics/Crop Production and Horticulture with at least 35% marks from a recognised board to be eligible for the CG PAT 2026.
CG Professional Examination Board started the CG PAT application process on April 2. Candidates who want to study Agriculture, Horticulture, or Veterinary Medicine could fill out an application form till April 27. To complete the CG PAT application form 2026, the candidate must complete class 12 and meet other eligibility criteria. Step 1: Online Registration

After clicking the "New Online Registration" tab, register at the CG PAT website by providing the candidate's name and a valid email address.
Passwords will be emailed to candidates who have successfully registered.
Step 2: Filling Out Form
Candidates must return to the CG PAT login page.
Log in using your email address and the password sent to your registered email address by clicking on the "Existing Users Login" section.
Fill out all of the information requested on the application form, including personal and academic information.
Upload your scanned passport photo and signature.
Submit the completed CG PAT online application form.
Step 3: Fee Payment
Candidates must pay the CG PAT 2026 application fee for each category using net banking/debit card/credit card.
Candidates should keep the payment receipt generated after a successful payment.
The authority may request a fee receipt during counselling and admission.
Following the registration process, an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number.
The CG PAT 2026 exam pattern specifies the total questions, duration, paper pattern and marking scheme of the exam. Each Agriculture & Science group will have three sections in the CG PAT exam pattern 2026. In CG PAT 2026, the Agriculture group include Elements of Science Mathematics useful for Agriculture, Crop Production and Horticulture, Elements of Animal Husbandry and Poultry Farming sections, while the Science group includes Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology sections. CG Professional Examination Board has released the CG PAT 2026 admit card on June 22. The CG PAT hall tickets 2026 can be downloaded from the official website using their registration ID/ application number and date of birth. The CG PAT exam date 2026 is June 28.
