NTA has witnessed a total of 4,11,366 total registrations, in which, a total of 3,45,220 students appeared for CUET PG exam, making it a 83.9% attendance rate. A total number of 2,32,965 female students appeared for CUET PG 2026, whereas, the total number of male participants was 1,78,391. There were a total registration of 66,188 in General management, 59,016 registrations for general test and 39,422 registrations for computer science. Among these 198 CUET PG participating universities, there are 45 central Universities, 40 state government universities, 24 government institutions, and 89 private/Deemed universities. Increase in Female Participation in CUET PG 2026
NTA has observed more numbers in female candidates than male candidates (2,32,965 female candidates, 1,78,391 male candidates). With the increase in centres for CUET PG exam as compared to previous years, more female students from tier 2 and tier 3 cities are participating in CUET PG 2026.

How CUET PG 2026 was conducted?
Based on the data shared by NTA, the agency conducted CUET PG exam from March 6 to 30, which was spread across 50 shifts and was conducted for 157 subjects. As “measures for Smooth & Fair Conduct”, NTA adopted AI-based Video Analytics, Live CCTV Surveillance, and Jammers to prevent malpractices. There were 267 city co-ordinators and 731 observers deployed for exam duty.
