JNU Merit List 2020 - National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JNU 2020 merit list in online mode. Candidates can check the merit list of JNU 2020 for various UG and PG programmes which are offered by the university. The JNU merit list will mention the name of the candidates along with their roll numbers and their acquired ranks. The ranks will be based on the marks scored by candidates in JNUEE. Candidates who manage to get their names on the JNU merit list 2020 will be given a chance to attend the counselling process which will be commences once the merit lists have been released. Candidates can continue to register themselves for the counselling procedure.

How to check JNU Merit List 2020

NTA will release the merit list of JNU 2020 in online mode. Candidates can follow the steps to download JNU merit list in a hassle-free way.

Step 1. Visit the official website of NTA

Step 2. Click on the official link of JNU merit list

Step 3. Check your individual rank from the merit list that will be presented in a PDF form.

Step 4. Candidates may download and print out multiple copies of the merit list for any future references.

JNU Merit List 2020 - Important Instructions

  • JNU merit list will not be sent to the candidates by NTA or the university via any courier/post. Candidates will have to visit the official website of NTA to check the same.

  • The merit list of JNU 2020 released will be considered as the final list and no changes will be made by the university.

  • The merit list of JNU 2020 will be based on the marks scored by candidates in the online entrance examination.

  • The rank list will be prepared based on the reservations/categories of the candidates. The ones belonging to special categories will get special leverages.

  • Selected candidates will have to register for the counselling procedure, without which they will not be able to attend the counselling.

  • If, in any case, candidates miss out on the counselling procedure, their seat will be given to the candidate next in the list.

JNU Cut off 2020

The university will release the JNU 2020 cut off in the first week of July in online mode. The cut off of JNU 2020 will be released as per the courses. It must be noted that the university will only release two rounds of JNU cut off. The JNU cut off 2020 will have marks (as per the categories for the respective programmes) that need to be scored out of the total marks of the paper to be eligible for admission. JNU 2020 cut off will be the benchmark based on which candidates will be offered admission to different UG, PG and post-PG courses at JNU through JNU Admission 2020. Thus, securing marks equal to or more than the JNUEE cut off 2020 will be the mandatory requirement for aspirants who wish to seek admission at the university.

What after JNU 2020 Merit List?

After the release of JNU merit list 2020, candidates who manage to get their names on the rank list will be given a chance to attend the counselling procedure. Candidates will be required to fill the registration form to attend the JNU counselling 2020. In the counselling session, candidates will be required to bring official documents with themselves and remit the tuition fee. Candidates who fail to do either of these things will get their admission cancelled and the candidates next in the rank list will be given the seat. Therefore, it is highly suggested that candidates carry all of their documents (original and photocopy) to the venue for counselling procedure.

I am extremely sorry to tell you but with engineering degree you are not eligible for m.sc in Environmental science as to be eligible for that the criteria is that candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Basic or Applied Sciences under 10+2+3 education pattern from school/ Institute/ University as recognised at the state or national level. Candidates must have secured at least 55 percent marks in aggregate of subjects of qualifying degree examination.

see jawharlal nehru university is a prominent university in india. you may see the recent nobel prize winner abhijeet banerjee was an ex alumni of jawharlal nehru university. if you want to study in abroad you have to try and give different exam. but most of the cases make your base strong and believe in your self.

nbo there is no reservation for northeast indian students in jnu.

Yes you can take admission in geography hons in ba entrance exam. Here is the eligibility criteria and admission process.

JNU 2019 Eligibility Criteria for B.A. in Geography is: BA (Geography) placement test has 4 units. Geomorphology, Climatology, Oceanography, and Biogeography are the fundamental themes secured under Unit I. Unit II covers subjects like Human Geography, Regional Geography, and Physical Geography of India.
