JNU Counselling 2020 - Jawaharlal Nehru University will commence the JNU 2020 counselling procedure from the second week of July with the release of JNU pre-enrolment form online. To fill the pre-enrolment form for the counselling of JNU 2020, candidates will have to enter the login credentials such as application number and date of birth. The JNU counselling 2020 includes verification of the original documents and remitting the tuition fee for the initial semester. Candidates who will manage to pass JNU admission 2020 will be called for JNU counselling 2020 will be required to carry all of the official and valid documents to get them verified by the admission authorities. After the document verification for JNU 2020 counselling is successfully done, candidates can continue to pay their academic fee. It must be noted that if a candidate misses out on the counselling of JNU 2020, their seat will be considered as vacant for the next candidates in the merit list to enrol.

JNUEE is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University for candidates who wish to enrol in various UG, PG, M. Phil and Ph. D. courses offered by the university. JNU Counselling Process 2020

  • The procedure of JNU counselling 2020 is started with the release of pre-enrolment form online which the candidates are required to fill. Candidates will be needed to fill their preferences on the pre-enrolment form. The preferences will be varied as per the courses, subjects, department etc.

  • Once the pre-enrolment form is filled, selected candidates who qualify the JNU merit list are required to visit the campus to get their documents verified along with the filled pre-enrolment form.

  • After the verification of all the documents by the JNU admission authority, candidates will be needed to pay the semester fee.

  • If any original document is found to be fabricated or candidates fail to provide any documents, their admission will be cancelled and the vacant seat will be given to the next available candidate in the merit list.

Documents to be Carried to JNU 2020 Counselling

It must be noted to carry all the authentic and official documents. Given below is a list of all the important documents that candidates need to carry with themselves while going for the counselling of JNU 2020.

Document Required for JNU Counselling

  • Enrolment Form

  • Five copies of recent passport size photographs

  • Character Certificate from last attended institution

  • Two sets of self-attested copies of (10+2), or an equivalent examination certificate showing the age/date of birth of the candidate.

  • Two sets of self-attested copies of the statement of marks obtained by the candidate along with passing certificate of Degree/Master’s Degree examination or their equivalent examination

  • For SC/ST Candidates: Two attested copies of SC/ ST Certificate in the prescribed format in support of their claim for admission against the reserved quota.
    Candidate should bring original caste/category certificate at the time of admission/registration

  • For PWD Candidates: Two copies of Disability Certificate in the prescribed Format issued by a Competent Medical Authority indicating the nature and extent (including percentage) of Physical Disability in support.

  • OBC Candidates: Two copies of OBC Certificate in the prescribed format.
    Candidate should bring original caste/category certificate at the time of admission/registration.

i want to do pg in literature. is it have entrance exam?

St Joseph's Degree and PG College, Hyderabad has following courses in pg level-

MBA

Master of Communication & Journalism (MCJ)

Evidently,this college doesn't offer English Literature at PG level.

Coming to JNU, it does conduct entrance test for MA English,its syllabus includes topics such as history of English Literature, how development of English Literature took place in India and other parts of world specifically focusing from 18th century onwards, literary criticism and theory etc, basically an in depth understanding of Literature at undergraduate level is required here.

Admission to MA Politics with International Studies will take place through JNUEE.

JNU will hold its entrance test JNUEE for admission of various UG and PG courses in online mode from 11th May to 14th May, 2020.


Online registration for the same will start on 2nd March, 2020 and the last date being 31st March, 2020.
