In order to be admitted to the course, candidates require at least 50% of their total points from either a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree in the sciences, social sciences, or humanities (45% for SEBC/SC/ST/PwD candidates), a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology (B.Tech.) with a specialization in Science and Mathematics (per the AICTE syllabus) with 55% of the possible points or any other qualification equivalent to it, or 50% for SEBC/SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Candidates with a B.Tech, a science degree, or an arts/commerce degree who took their final year graduation test are also eligible to apply. Their application for admission is contingent upon obtaining the necessary cumulative percentage of graduation-level grades during the admission period; if they do not, their admission claim will be revoked.
She/he must have completed Odia as a subject in the particular BSE, Odisha HSC standard examination, or have passed Odia as MIL up to HSC level or any equal or higher examination.
