DU Registration 2024: Delhi University has closed the DU upgraded allocation window 2024 for candidates to accept the allocated seats till September 5. The university published the DU UG upgraded allocation on September 3. Earlier, the university activated the link for the DU UG upgrade window on August 31. Students could update their DU UG preferences till September 1.
Around 2,73,109 candidates have registered through the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS) in the first phase of admission in UG Courses at Delhi University. Out of which, 2,13,522 students have paid the application fees successfully. The DU admission will be done in three phases i.e. application form submission, programme selection, choice filling and seat allotment. Candidates must note that seat allotment will be based on CUET scores. Those with the minimum CUET cutoff percentile will qualify for DU registration 2024. Applicants who have appeared in the CUET examination have to fill out the DU registration form 2024 on DU admission portal before the deadline. To be able to apply for DU registration form 2024 through DU CSAS portal registration 2024, the aspirants must visit the Delhi University official admission portal and log in through the CUET application number and password. Afterwards, a merit list will be released in the three phases and two spot rounds, based on which seats are allocated. The admissions to the DU CSAS programmes will be done through CUET examination. Candidates are required to submit all the documents required for CSAS portal. Following are the steps candidates need to take to fill out the DU 2024 application form.

Sports/ECA Section
Those students who want to take admissions through sports or ECA quota have to fill out certain details in the DU application form 2024. They need to select the admission mode as sports/ECA quota and enter past extracurricular or sports performance details.
Step 3: Uploading the documents
After filling the DU application form 2024 the candidates have to upload the documents given below . The documents uploaded must be in the prescribed size and format.

Step 4: Payment of DU application fee
After the documents, the candidates have to pay the required DU CSAS 2024 application fee based on their social categories. The DU application fee can be paid either through debit card, credit card or net banking.
Candidates must check out the latest DU fee structure 2024 and registration fees at the university 250/- rupees for general students and 100/- rupees for SC/ ST/ PWD/ EWS. In addition, there is a cancellation fee of 1000/- rupees for students who wish to cancel their enrolment.
To apply for supplementary seats and sports/extracurricular activities, you need a 25% CUET score and 75% certificates and trials.
In order to apply for a BA (Hons) degree, 50% of the CUET score and 50% of the performance score will be accepted.
Students must score a minimum of 30% in the CUET 2024 in order to be admitted to a B.Sc. course.

If any candidate forgets his/her DU application password 2024, Delhi University allows a chance to retrieve the password by using their registered email address.

Candidates who are registering for DU 2024 admission can choose from 79 UG programmes in different colleges at Delhi University. The CSAS portal 2024 witnessed a registration count of 3,04,699 candidates, out of which 2,45,235 successfully submitted their CSAS DU application form in 2023. To do this, the candidate must first log in to the dashboard and go to the programmes section. By applying through the CSAS 2024 portal, candidates are required to select all UG programmes for which they want to apply. It is mandatory for all the candidates to carefully select the programmes as it cannot be edited further. Candidates are encouraged to choose as many programmes as they wish to select, provided they meet the program-specific eligibility requirements. For allocations and upgrades (if any), only the programs that were selected by the aspirant during the Preference-Filling phase will be considered during the DU admission 2024-24.
Note - Candidate must select as many programmes he/she wishes to, as he/she will not be able to add/ delete any program/s and/ or preferences once the preference filling phase is over
Candidates selected programme - CUET score for all the programmes selected by the candidate, if eligible.
Candidates can select various programmes from given programmes + selected college combinations against the selected programmes for which they have confirmed their Programme-Specific CUET scores. Selected Programme and College combination will also determine the candidate's preference choice, the candidate must carefully select the Programme and College during the process. Programme and College combinations can be reordered according to the given preference order. DU seats will be allocated based on the preference order submitted by the candidate.
The aspirants who are applying are supposed to receive a confirmation email from Delhi University if their registration is completed successfully. The students should also check if they have received the confirmation email in the spam folder of the email account. Given below are the steps that candidates should follow if they want to get the confirmation email from the university manually.

DU registration 2024 will consider the marks obtained by the candidate in CUET 2024 exam for calculating the total marks according to the program-specific combinations of subjects for deciding merit and granting admissions in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. As per the basic DU eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination from a recognized board and candidates need to meet the minimum eligible academic qualification and other requirements, such as the age limit, subject preference and minimum percentage, for admission in DU 2024 UG courses. The minimum percentage required and subject preference choice in the DU eligibility criteria 2024 of the various programmes may differ depending upon the candidate’s selected program.
Merit will be based only on the ‘combination of subjects in which a candidate has appeared in CUET 2024, as mentioned in the respective program-specific eligibility.
Here are the course-wise details of Delhi University eligibility criteria for 2024 admissions:
Qualification: Candidates must have passed or appeared in the 12th level or its equivalent level examination from any recognized board.
Marks: The candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in their qualifying examination.
Subjects: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English (PCME) as mandatory subjects in their qualifying examination.
Qualification: Candidates must have passed B.A, BBA, B.Com, or its equivalent examination from any recognized institution.
Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks (45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ ST) in their qualifying examination.
Qualification: Candidates must have an LLB degree of either 3 or 5 years from any recognized institute.
Marks: They must have secured at least 50% marks (45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ ST) in their qualifying examination to be eligible.
Qualification: Applying candidates will require B.Tech/ B.E. or its equivalent degree from any recognized institution.
Marks: The candidates will require at least 60% marks (54% for OBC and 40% for SC/ ST) in their qualifying degree to be eligible for admission.
