CUET PG Political Science Eligibility Criteria 2026

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

  • A refugee from Tibet who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to stay there permanently.

  • People who have made India their permanent home include Burmese, Kenyans, Tanzanians, Zambians, Malawians, Burmese, Ethiopians, Burmese, and Vietnamese.

  • The maximum age for applicants is not specified. Applications for master's degree programs at Central Universities are open to all candidates, regardless of age, who have passed the bachelor's degree or equivalent exam or are enrolled in the CUET PG 2026 exam.

  • minimum of 50% in the social sciences and 55% for those with a bachelor's degree in science and technology for those pursuing a bachelor's degree under the 10+2+3 educational pattern.

  • All OBC (non-creamy layer) applicants are eligible for a 10% reduction in the qualifying exam's mark percentage when compared to the open category.

  • Students who have finished the qualifying exam and are SC/ST or PWD are entitled to sit the admission exam, regardless of their percentage of marks.
