Kevin T: Yes, I’m involved in student leadership and club activities, especially as the General Secretary of the AI Club. Managing events and responsibilities has sharpened my communication, teamwork, time management, and execution skills, which I’m already applying as I work on my projects.
Careers360: In your view, does hostel life contribute positively to peer learning and community building?
Kevin T: Yes, hostel life is a fantastic place to learn from each other. You can quickly clear up any questions, share helpful resources, and keep each other going during exams. Plus, it’s a great way to make lasting friendships and develop teamwork skills.
Careers360: How effective are mentoring, counseling, and career guidance services offered to students?
Kevin T: VIT’s support system is a great resource, especially if you start using it early on. I’ve noticed that figuring out your career path becomes easier when you mix in some guidance with your own efforts like working on projects, getting certifications, and staying actively learning.

Chennai?
Kevin T: In general, my time here has been all about growth. VIT Chennai has been a great place for me to boost my studies, step into leadership roles, and create real world projects. It’s a great environment where hard work really pays off with chances to shine.
