TUEE 2019 - Tezpur University has released the merit list of the candidates who had deposited the admission fee for TUEE 2019 along with the counselling schedule on July 09, 2019. The university had, earlier, released the TUEE result 2019 on June 26, 2019, in the form of a merit list. The candidates could check the result of TUEE 2019 in the link given below. The university had, also, released the answer keys for TUEE 2019 in online mode. The candidates were needed to log in by entering their Email and password to check the TUEE answer keys 2019.
The university had released the admission form for TUEE 2019 on February 27, 2019. Tezpur University conducts Tezpur University Entrance Exam for the Integrated programmes along with the Masters programme and PhD programmes. To apply for the different programmes offered, candidates need to fill and submit the application form along with the application fee online. The last date to fill the application forms of TUEE 2019 was May 7. The admit card for the entrance exam was available online to download from May 2, 2019. TUEE 2019 was conducted in the offline mode for a duration of 2 hours in two sessions. The admissions for Tezpur University is conducted based on the merit secured by candidates in the entrance examination.

Tezpur University offers various undergraduate and post-graduate courses along with PhD and Diploma programmes. The admission process of TUEE 2019 is held through the entrance exam conducted for the different courses. The general Admission process for the different programmes is mentioned below.
M.Sc. Programme in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology
Candidates who wish to apply for this Programme can seek admissions through either the University entrance examination or through the All India Combined Entrance Test conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
All other Non-Ph.D. Programmes
Candidates appearing for the different programmes, admission will be conducted based on their performance in the University entrance examinations. Candidates will have to appear in the University entrance examinations without which they will not be considered for the admissions.
Candidates who are going to apply for the different programmes must check the eligibility criteria prescribes for each of the programmes. The table given here states the eligibility for each of the courses along with the intake.

M. A. in Cultural Studies
Candidates must complete Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least second class marks in Major subject.
Candidates having no major / honours must have a minimum of 45 per cent marks
M.A. in English
Candidates must complete Bachelor’s degree with minimum 45 percent marks with a major/honours in English.
Candidates without a major/honours must have minimum 50 percent marks aggregate and also in 50 percent aggregate in English
M. A. in Linguistics and Language Technology
Candidates must have B. A. with honours in Linguistics/ English or any allied subject with a minimum of 45 percent marks OR
B.A. with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks
M. A. in Linguistics and Endangered Languages
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 45 percent marks in Major or 50 percent marks without Major.
M. A. in Hindi
Candidates must complete Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in Hindi from a recognized University OR
Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as an elective subject having minimum 50 percent of aggregate.
M. A. in Social Work
Candidates must complete graduation in any discipline with 45 percent marks in Major
M. A. in Sociology
Candidates should complete Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 45 percent marks in Sociology major/honours or in any subject offered as major/honours.
Candidates who do not have a major/honours must have 50% marks in aggregate.
M. Sc. in Chemistry
Candidates must complete their Bachelor’s degree with major/ honours in Chemistry subject with a minimum of 45 percent marks and should have Physics and Mathematics as subsidiary subjects.
M. Sc. in Environmental Science
Candidates must complete their B.Sc. in Physical/Biological/ Earth and Environmental Sciences as major/ honours with minimum of 50 percent marks.
Candidates who do not have a major/honours must have minimum 55 percent marks aggregate. Or,
B.Sc. (Agri.) with at minimum 6.0 CGPA in 10 point scale or equivalent. Or
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Medicine with 55 percent marks or equivalent grade points.
M. Sc. in Mathematics
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45 percent marks major/honours, either in Mathematics or Statistics.
Candidates who have completed major/honours in Statistics should also have Mathematics as subsidiary course with a minimum of 50 percent marks.
Candidates not having major/honours must have 50 percent marks in aggregate and a 50 percent aggregate in mathematics
M. Sc. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology*
Bachelor’s degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology, four years B.S. programme (Physician Assistant course) or Medicine, MBBS or BDS with a minimum 55% marks in major/honours or aggregate. Those who have passed the qualifying examination before 2 years from the date of announcement of admission are not eligible.
M. Sc. in Physics
Candidates must have completed B.Sc. with minimum of 50 percent marks in major/honours in Physics having Mathematics as one of the subsidiary subjects.
Candidate who do not have major/honours must have 55 percent marks in aggregate and in Physics
B. Com. with minimum of 50% marks in major/honours. Mathematics at degree level is desirable.
*10 seats are reserved for permanent residents of any of the North-East-States (filled up through the Tezpur University Entrance Examinations 2019) and 20 seats are filled up through “All India Combined Entrance Test” conducted by DBT, Government of India from time to time)
The application forms for TUEE 2019 were available online from February 27, 2019. The last date of registration and filling up the application form of TUEE 2019 was May 07, 2019. Candidates who wished to apply for more than one programme were made sure to fill separate application forms for the different programmes. Also, candidates need to submit the application fee online only.

For the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the question papers comprise of 60 multiple choice questions and descriptive questions of 40 marks.
The MCQ part of the question paper is divided into 4 sections; I, II, III, and IV.
TUEE 2019 - Tie-breaking Criteria
A tie-breaker is applicable for those candidates who score the same marks on the entrance test. The final marks are being determined keeping in mind the tie-breakers. Given below are the different criterias for marks to be allotted for the candidates who have a tie in their score.
In case of a tie, candidate scoring higher marks in section IV will be given priority.
In case a tie still persists, the marks scored in section III will be considered.
If there is a tie even after this criterion either graduation or 10+2 marks will be considered.
If the resolution is not possible after this criterion, candidates will be given equal priority.

The counselling procedure will be conducted for those candidates who have qualified TUEE 2019 from July 22, 2019 to July 23, 2019. After deposition of fee, they are requested to send the e-generated receipt to the University by e-mail: [email protected] by 4.00 p.m. of 6.07.2019. Physical Verification of documents and admission of the candidates who have deposited the fee will be done from July 22 to July 23, 2019 and are required to report to the concerned Departments at any time during 9.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Candidates whose names will be featured in the merit list will have to appear for the counselling procedure along with the following documents.

The required cut off for the Tezpur University cannot be determined accurately until the university releases an official cut off marks. The candidates with minimum of 50% and above score will be eligible to apply for this college. For any MBA programs the candidate have to appear and score an minimum marks in CAT, MAT, XAT etc. The students with good scores in these examinations will be called for the PI and WAT rounds.
There is no particular cut off for the admission in Tezpur University. The cut off varies by various factors every year. The candidates with 50% and above in the UG are eligible to apply for the college. The performance in CAT, MAT and XAT examinations will be considered for allocation of seats. The candidates with good scores in the above mentioned examinations will be called for PI and WAT rounds before the seats allocation.
