TUEE 2020 - Tezpur University has extended the last date for document uploading and marksheet uploading (for candidates who have already applied for admission) to August 31. Earlier, the last date to uploading the documents was July 31. The authorities had closed the window for TUEE 2020 application form submission on June 30. However,for B.Tech programmes the application window of TUEE 2020 for B.Tech programmes was closed on July 15. The university has cancelled the TUEE 2020 entrance examination, due to Covid 19 lockdown. The admission to TUEE programmes will be done on the basis of qualifying examination marks, except M.Sc Molecular Biology and M.Sc Biotechnology. Admission to Tezpur University 2020 M.Sc Molecular Biology and M.Sc Biotechnology will be done through GAT-B examination. The university commenced the online application form window of TUEE 2020 admission on February 25. The TUEE 2020 admit card for GAT-B 2020 will be released in the online mode. The Tezpur university will declare the result of TUEE 2020 in the form of merit list in online mode.
LATEST: TUEE 2020 will not be conducted for programmes of Tezpur University admissions and the selection will be done on the basis of merit.
Admission to M.Sc Biotechnology and Molecular Biology will be conducted through an entrance test conducted by the Department of Biotechnology for only academic session 2020-21, known as GAT-B.

Candidates who do not have a major/honours must have 50% marks in aggregate.
M.Sc. in Chemistry
Candidates must complete their Bachelor’s degree with major/ honours in Chemistry subject with a minimum of 45 per cent marks and should have Physics and Mathematics as subsidiary subjects.
M.Sc. in Environmental Science
Candidates must complete their B.Sc. in Physical/Biological/ Earth and Environmental Sciences as major/ honours with a minimum of 50 per cent marks.
Candidates who do not have a major/honours must have minimum 55 per cent marks aggregate. Or,
B.Sc. (Agri.) with at minimum 6.0 CGPA in 10 point scale or equivalent. Or
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Medicine with 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade points.
M.Sc. in Mathematics
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45 per cent marks major/honours, either in Mathematics or Statistics.
Candidates who have completed major/honours in Statistics should also have Mathematics as a subsidiary course with a minimum of 50 per cent marks.
Candidates not having major/honours must have 50 per cent marks in aggregate and a 50 per cent aggregate in mathematics
M.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology*
Bachelor’s degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology, four years B.S. programme (Physician Assistant Course) or Medicine, MBBS or BDS with a minimum 55% marks in major/honours or aggregate. Those who have passed the qualifying examination before 2 years from the date of announcement of admission are not eligible.
M.Sc. in Physics
Candidates must have completed B.Sc. with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in major/honours in Physics having Mathematics as one of the subsidiary subjects.
The candidate who does not have major/honours must have 55 per cent marks in aggregate and in Physics
B. Com. with a minimum of 50% marks in major/honours. Mathematics at degree level is desirable.

TUEE Exam Pattern
The TUEE exam will be in offline mode in which questions will differ as per the courses. For the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the question papers comprise of 60 multiple choice questions and descriptive questions of 40 marks. The MCQ part of the question paper is divided into 4 sections; I, II, III, and IV.

TUEE 2020 Counselling
The counselling of TUEE 2020 will be held in online mode at the admission portal, the link of which will be provided in this article. The selected candidates whose names are there on the TUEE 2020 merit list will be requested to reserve their seats by online depositing the fee of the first academic semester of their desired programmes through the State Bank Collect. After deposition of fee candidates will be required to send an e-generated receipt to the university by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The candidates who will go through the online process of TUEE counselling 2020 will be required to visit the campus for verification of their documents. Candidates will be needed to produce all relevant documents in original for verification and submit self-attested copies of the same at the concerned Departments for office record. You have no other option other than applying with the January attempt marks.Lots of colleges and universities did the same thing because they cant wait till the JEE mains second session takes place.Now, you have option to apply with the January score or you will have to wait for second session of JEE and try to score well and in that and get college through JoSAA counseling based on your score.
