These cutoffs are determined based on factors like the number of applicants, seat availability, and overall examination difficulty. The cutoff system ensures a fair and competitive selection process, enabling the admission of candidates who demonstrate academic competence in the entrance examination.

Previous Years' Cutoffs: Historical cutoff trends may influence the current year's cutoffs.
Reservation Quotas: Cutoffs can vary based on reserved categories, affecting different sections of applicants.
Programme specifics: Cutoffs may differ for various courses, considering the program's popularity and demand.
Institute-Wise Variation: Each Regional Institute may have different cutoffs based on individual admission policies and seat allocations.
RIE CEE Aggregate Marks
For B.Sc B.Ed and M.Sc.Ed, the RIE CEE total score is calculated based on the marks obtained in the PCM or PCB combination out of the maximum PCM/PCB marks in the qualifying examination. The aggregate score for BA B.Ed is determined by the total scores obtained in the qualifying examination out of the possible maximum qualifying examination score. Similarly, the B.Ed aggregate score represents the total marks received in the qualifying degree examination out of the possible maximum marks in that examination.
The aggregate score for B.Ed M.Ed (integrated) is calculated as the total obtained in the qualifying postgraduate examination marks out of a possible maximum qualifying postgraduate examination total. For M.Ed, the score is determined by the acquired total qualifying examination marks out of a possible maximum qualifying examination marks. If the qualifying examination is B.Sc.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed/B.A.Ed/B.A.B.Ed, only the acquired total marks in the professional sections out of the maximum marks in those sections are considered.
RIE CEE Merit List 2025
After the results are declared, the Merit List for RIE CEE 2025 will likely be released in August on the official website. The RIE CEE seat allotment is conducted based on this list, which is prepared based on candidates' performance in the admission exams. Scholarships are also provided to deserving candidates as per the criteria mentioned in the merit list, emphasising the significance of academic achievement in the admissions process.
RIE CEE 2025 Merit List: Tie-Breaking Process
In instances where candidates in the NCERT RIE CEE (National Council of Educational Research and Training Common Entrance Examination) have identical overall scores, a tie-breaker process is implemented. The admission score, comprising 60% of the total weightage, is a significant factor, complemented by 40% weightage given to qualifying examination marks. Should a tie persist, the resolution begins with a consideration of the scores obtained in the Teaching Aptitude Test. If the tie persists after this stage, the authorities further decide based on the age of the candidates.
The NCERT is expected to start the RIE CEE 2025 counselling process in August. Eligible candidates will be invited to attend counselling at various RIEs. Information about RIE CEE counselling can be found on the official website. The counselling process is vital for securing admission to specific courses and seats. Successful candidates are required to attend the designated counselling session with all required documents. Participation in RIE CEE counselling is mandatory for further admission considerations.
