The University of Delhi will release the DU first allocation list on July 19, 2025. The DU offers the BCom Hons through the marks of CUET 2025 examination. BCom Hons is the most chosen subject among the candidates of commerce background. The cut off generally goes 970+ for the general category. Students who are willing to take admission in the top colleges of DU in BCom Hons must check the college wise cut off from this article.
Delhi University will consider marks of the best four subjects to prepare the cut off list. The subjects combination is based on the CUET 2025. The NTA has announced the CUET result on July 4, 2025. The DU phase 2 registration will start where one can make their college preferences.
For the commerce students it is important to understand the subject mapping for the BCom Hons. Instead, they must have appeared in the CUET examination and must have valid results. The subject mapping of DU BCom Hons subjects are as follows.
Combination I: Any one Language from List A + Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics + Any two subjects from List B
OR
Combination II: Any one Language from List A + Accountancy/Book Keeping + Any two subjects from List B
List A consists of all the language subjects while List B has the domain specific subjects.
List A includes languages- English, Hindi ,Assamese, Bengali ,Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Sanskrit
List B- Accountancy / Book Keeping, Agriculture, Anthropology, Biology/ Biological Studies/ Biotechnology /Biochemistry,Business Studies,Chemistry,Environmental Science,Computer Science / Information Practices,Economics / Business Economics,Fine Arts/Visual Arts/Commercial Arts,Geography / Geology,History,Home Science,Knowledge Tradition-Practices in India,Mass Media / Mass Communication,Mathematics / Applied Mathematics,Performing Arts - (Dance, Drama and Music),Physical Education (Yoga, Sports),Physics,Political Science,Psychology,Sociology
The total marks in the Delhi University for the BCom Hons is taken from 1000. The DU will consider the best of 4 subjects to make the cut off marks. Total marks from each subject is 250. So, the total marks of four subjects will become 1000.
