To decide which candidate gets a higher position in the MCAER merit list if there are candidates with similar marks, the conducting body will consider the following factors:
Higher Marks in MAUEB Common Entrance Test
Higher CGPA in graduation
No of years required to complete undergraduate degree programme
The candidate who is older in age
The online application was submitted first.
MCAER 2025 Merit List - Objection Process
The candidates can present their grievance in online mode by entering their login ID and password on or before the date mentioned in the admission programme in case they find any type of mistake in the MCAER 2025 merit list. Candidates who fail to submit their grievances online within the scheduled time will not have their grievance considered.
What after the MCAER Merit List 2025?
Immediately following the release of the MCAER 2025 merit list, three allotment lists will be released inviting candidates to participate in counselling. The time, date and venue for MCAER counselling 2025 is provided on the official website of MCAER.

The 70:30 pattern means there might be two sections in the paper in which one section carries 70% and other 30% marks weightage. Candidate needs to pass the both sections saparately and scoring good in just one section might not be enough.
One needs to attempt both the sections with equal efforts to pass the examination.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that with the above rank scored by you in pgcet ma you have little chances to get admission in MS Ramaiah institute of technology as the cutoff for this college is very high and the cutoff for the karnataka PGCEt varies every year as it depends on various factors and it is different for different category students.

To get junior research fellowship and senior research fellowship the recognition of college by the ICAR is a criteria.
Any candidate who wants to secure admission in any course offered at State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) in Maharashtra need to appear for MCAER CET exam. Candidates cannot secure admission in any PG level course offered at SAUs if they do not have a valid MCAER CET score/ rank.
