On 20th June 2026, KIET Deemed to be University organized its Alumni Meet – Pune Chapter, which brought together KIET Alumni and their families for an evening of reconnecting, networking, and celebrating lifelong bonds with their alma mater.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. Nagaraj Ramrao, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Manoj Goel, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Adesh Pandey, Director Academics, Dr. Abhinav Juneja, Director – Corporate Relations & Placement Centre, Ms. Pankaj Dhupar, Head CRPC, Mr. Vishal Sharma, Additional Head CRPC, Dr. Kamal Kant Sharma, Head Alumni Engagement Cell, along with Mr. Shivam Shukla, President, KIET Alumni Association, and other office bearers of the Alumni Association.

A key highlight of the evening was the inauguration of the KIET Alumni Website, a comprehensive digital platform designed to strengthen alumni engagement, foster professional networking, facilitate mentorship opportunities, and create meaningful connections among alumni and the university community. The website was conceptualized by Mr. Nitin Seth, Joint Secretary, KIET Alumni Association, whose vision and dedicated efforts played a pivotal role in bringing this initiative to life.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Nagaraj Ramrao, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Manoj Goel, Pro Vice Chancellor, shared the University’s inspiring journey from KIET Group of Institutions to KIET Deemed to be University Ghaziabad, highlighting the vision, dedication, and academic excellence that have driven this transformation. They elaborated on the University’s roadmap for becoming a globally recognized centre of excellence in education, innovation, entrepreneurship, and research. The leadership also highlighted the launch and expansion of Ph.D. programmes and research initiatives, aimed at fostering a strong culture of research and innovation.
The university leadership encouraged alumni to remain closely connected with their alma mater, actively mentor students, share industry insights and success stories, and contribute towards shaping the next generation of professionals and leaders. The interaction reflected the university’s commitment to nurturing a strong, vibrant, and engaged alumni ecosystem.
Mr. Shivam Shukla, President, KIET Alumni Association, encouraged alumni to strengthen their connections with fellow KIETians across the globe, remain actively engaged with their batchmates and alumni chapters, and leverage the power of the alumni network to support, mentor, and uplift one another. He emphasised that a connected alumni community creates greater opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, and collective success.
The enthusiastic participation of alumni and their families, engaging discussions, and the spirit of camaraderie made the event truly memorable. The Pune Chapter Meet successfully reinforced the bond between the university and its alumni, paving the way for greater collaboration, stronger networks, and continued mutual growth.
