b. Location Preference – This will be applicable only when a course is offered in more than one location. Candidates will have to choose from the following locations – 1. Department or faculty of the main campus, 2. Rajiv Gandhi South Campus 3. Affiliated colleges.

c. Type of Seat – Candidates will have to specify if they want paid seats in case regular fee seats are full.

  • Candidates are to fill in all the details carefully.

  • They must not leave any option on the online preference entry form blank. Blank options will indicate to the computer (medium of counselling) that the candidate is not interested in that option.

  • Though candidates will get another chance to make changes in their preferences on the day of BHU PET counselling 2019, it is still advised that they fill the online form seriously.

  • Admissions to paid seats will be conducted only when the regular seats are full.

Second Step – Counselling Day – Seat Allotment

  • Upon reaching the centre, candidates must contact the in charge of counselling centre or venue and mark their attendance on the attendance sheet available with the in charge.

  • At this stage, candidates will get another chance to make changes in their online preference entries. So after signing the attendance sheet, candidates are advised to consult the head/ in charge of the faculty and discuss with him/her the course details, fee structure, hostel availability, and so on.

  • After the discussion, if the candidate feels like changing his/her preferences, he/she can proceed with it by first informing the admission officer/in charge of the venue.

  • Candidates are then requested to get a printout of the final online preference entry form, sign and submit it.
