BHU PET Answer Key 2020 – Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is to release the BHU PET 2020 answer key in the first week of June, in online mode. However, it must be known that the BHU PET answer key 2020 will be released on different dates, for different programmes. BHU PET 2020 Answer Key

It’s important to know that the answer key of BHU is released in two stages. The answer key of BHU PET 2020, which is released initially is the provisional one. Further the candidates are given a few days to challenge or raise objections against the BHU PET provisional answer key, as there may be some mistakes/discrepancies while it’s released initially. However, later, after considering all the objections, the authorities will release the final answer key of BHU PET 2020, which can not be challenged and is considered final.

BHU PET Provisional Answer Key 2020

At first, BHU will be releasing a provisional answer key of BHU PET, in the first week of June. It may happen that answer keys for different subjects of MA, MSc., M.Com can be released on different dates. Candidates need to check the keys and compare their answers with that of the official answer key (provisional). After comparing, if they find any mistakes/errors in any of the keys or questions reflecting in the answer key, then they have to submit their objections as per the official dates and by paying the prescribed fee. How to challenge BHU PET Answer Key 2020

The step-by-step procedure to challenge the answer key of BHU has been explained below:

  • Visit the official portal bhuonline.in within 5 days of the date of conduct of BHU PET

  • Login to the portal by entering your email ID and password and see the provisional answer key

  • You can challenge the provisional answer key and questions only for 3 days from the date of uploading, so be careful with the timings.

  • Raise your objections online for the questions or answer key which you feel have discrepancies. For each question or answer key, candidates have to pay a processing f of Rs. 100 through online mode only (Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking). The processing fee will be refunded online in the same account (Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking), if the challenge is found correct.

  • Candidates are advised not to submit their objections via email/offline modes, as they will not be considered through these modes.

  • The objections against the provisional answer key will be reviewed by the subject matter experts of the University.

  • After reviewing and final evaluation, the final answer key of BHU PET 2020 will be released. The decision of the experts regarding question(s)/key will be final and can not be challenged further.

While challenging the BHU PET 2020 answer key, candidates also have to mention/provide the following details:

  • Course name

  • Roll number

  • Course code

  • Question booklet SET

BHU PET Final Answer Key 2020

After the review and evaluation, the BHU PET final answer key 2020 will be out in the third week of June. This answer key is the final and can not be challenged further. Thus, candidates have to log in to their BHU website log in accounts and get access to the final answer key and compare their answers with it. They can calculate their final score/marks by comparing their answers with the final answer key.

How to calculate BHU PET scores with the Help of BHU PET Answer Key

We bring here a formula based on BHU PET 2020 marking scheme to calculate the marks through the bhu pet answer key. Candidates can use this formula to calculate their probable marks in the exam while they check the answer key of BHU PET.

Total Marks = [(Correct answer) * 3] – [(Incorrect answer) * 1]

  • 3 marks to be given for each correct answer.

  • 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

  • 1 mark to be deducted for each answer marked incorrectly/improperly (half-darkened ovals, darkening of more than one oval, other marks like cross marks, tick marks, line marks, and so on.)

  • Unattempted question will be awarded zero (0) mark.

BHU PET Result 2020

The University will release the result of BHU PET 2020 in the third week of June, after the final answer key is released. The BHU 2020 result will be released in online mode wherein candidates have to enter their roll number and date of birth in the result search window. Through the BHU PET result, candidates will be able to know their marks, category-wise and overall merit in the exam. Candidates securing the cut off marks of the exam will be eligible for participating in the BHU PET 2020 counselling for admission.

for msc course in banaras hindu university eligibility criteria is students need to have a bachelors degree in relevant discipline. For M.Sc Zoology and M.Sc Botany, candidates must have also studied Chemistry at graduation level. as you have studied chemistry in b.sc course you are also eligible.
