BHU PET 2018- Marking Scheme

  • Each question of BHU PET 2018 will carry three marks and total marks is 360 for 120 objective type questions

  • There shall be negative marking of one mark for each wrongly answered question for all courses

  • No marks will be allotted for questions not attempted by candidates

  • Candidates answering questions with more than one option or option not marked properly will be considered wrong and negative marking will be done

Points to remember while appearing BHU PET 2018

  • Candidates must reach the allotted examination centre of BHU PET 2018 at least an hour before the scheduled time

  • Candidates reaching BHU PET exam centre late or after the scheduled time will not be permitted to enter the examination hall

  • Candidates are advised to carry BHU PET 2018 admit card issued to them. The admit card of BHU PET mentions test details such as programme appearing for, date and time of examination, duration, test centre location, candidates details with photograph and signature as submitted in the application form of BHU PET 2018

  • Candidates will be given a Question Booklet containing the questions and an OMR sheet at the beginning of the Test to fill their responses

  • Candidates within 10 minutes after the issue of the Question Booklet shall read instructions and also to check number of pages, misprinting. In case of any discrepancy in the Question Booklet, candidates shall inform the Superintendent/Invigilators present in the exam centre

  • Candidates must fill his/her Roll Number, Question Booklet No. and Set No. (if any) at the space provided in the answer sheet. The details shall be filled with Ink/Ball Point Pen only. Candidates, in addition, are also required to fill up Roll number in the space provided on the answer sheet by darkening the appropriate ovals with Blue/Black Ball Point Pen only

  • (Note: Any error in darkening the Roll Number or writing set number will result in wrong evaluation of the Answer Sheet. Candidates can note that non-filling of Set No (if any), Roll No. and other vital details would lead to non-evaluation of Answer Sheet and cancellation of his/her candidature.)

  • Candidates need to carry Blue or Black Ink/Ball Point pen to fill the OMR sheet. Also, blind candidates can avail scribe/writer facility by requesting the University during application process of BHU PET 2018

  • Candidates will not be permitted to exit the examination hall during the test
