Students are required to pay Rs 300 as the registration fees for IGNOU. Students are informed that this fee is only required while taking admission in the first year. However, additional fees are applicable as you choose different subjects in the first year and your admission fees may increase based on that. For example, choosing subjects that have practical elements have higher course fees than those which do not. The IGNOU admission fees are non-refundable unless your application is cancelled due to issues from the university’s end.
The university charges extra fees if students require printed copies of IGNOU study materials. It is important to be aware that the delivery of these study materials to your registered home address takes time, if you are unable to collect it from your regional centre.
