OUAT Counselling 2024: The Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology released the OUAT vacant seats for Agro-Polytechnic, NRI/PIO and WO categories on August 22 in online mode. Earlier, the university had started the OUAT 2024 counselling for all undergraduate courses from August 12. Candidates who have qualified for the OUAT entrance exam are advised to report to the counselling venues along with all the necessary documents for further process. The OUAT counselling fee 2024 is INR 500 and candidates must pay to register for OUAT admission seats.

Candidates have a certain time to check and freeze their seats during OUAT 2024 counselling. They can claim the seats for admission to the university. The seat allotment at Odisha University will be based on the merit and programme preference shared by the candidates during the application form. Candidates who have passed the OUAT entrance exam 2024 with the specified cut-off marks will be eligible for the counselling process. The Odisha University released the official date for OUAT counselling 2024 which would take place online. The counselling would take place from August 12, 2024, to August 22, 2024. Candidates are advised to register online for the counselling process and submit all the important documents to the officials with the registration fees. The university officials notified the OUAT counselling dates in 2024 for all undergraduate courses.

Eligibility Criteria for OUAT 2024 Counselling

Counselling and admission at OUAT for all undergraduate courses are strictly based on the merit list prepared by the admission board. An official notice on the date, time, and venue of the counselling and admission of rank/category wise will be published on the OUAT official website and in newspapers. Candidates can go through the notice and plan their counselling and admission accordingly.

Candidates who have passed and qualified in the merit list are eligible for OUAT counselling 2024. Candidates are required to download their intimation or rank card of the OUAT entrance exam 2024 from the university's official website. While downloading the card, candidates must enter their OUAT roll number, mobile number, and date of birth.

Candidates must have the following important documents ready for attending the OUAT 2024 counselling process.

• Class 10 mark sheet and certificate

• Class 12 mark sheet and certificate

OUAT 2024 Counselling Procedure

The Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology has started the OUAT counselling process for candidates who have qualified for the entrance exam. Counselling is a crucial step for candidates seeking admission to various undergraduate courses offered at the university. There is a general counselling procedure for OUAT. Downloading OUAT Intimation-Cum-Rank Card

Shortlisted candidates from the merit list can download their intimation-cum-rank card on the official website at out.ac.in specifying the date and time of the OUAT counselling. The rank card is meant for attending counselling and admission at OUAT and does not ensure any seat. Candidates' admission will depend on the seat availability and eligibility of candidates only after the verification of original documents and admission fee payment.

Candidates are required to attend the counselling physically on the dates and times mentioned in the rank card. If they fail to attend the venue, their claim for admission will be forfeited and no requests will be considered for admission later on.

OUAT Counselling Registration

Candidates must register themselves online for the OUAT counselling process on the university's official website. During the registration, candidates need to enter their personal and academic details by choosing their preferred colleges and courses.

OUAT Choice Filling

Once the candidates report for counselling and admission, they will be called for choice filling for seat availability. Candidates have to choose the form, duly fill and sign it as per their choice. Once the particular course and category is granted to the candidate, changing over to other courses and colleges later on is not permitted.

OUAT Seat Allotment 2024

Based on the number of registrations received by the university and marks scored by the candidates in the OUAT 2024 entrance exam, the authority will release the OUAT seat allotment results.

OUAT Counselling Documents Verification

Candidates are required to have all the mark sheets and certificates in original, intimation/rank card with Form-B, and requisite admission fees in a demand draft. Original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies are required to be submitted by the candidates mandatorily before the admission board. Once candidates submit the required documents in original, the counselling and admission board will verify the documents and shortlist the candidates accordingly.

Security Fees Deposit

• For the deposition of admission fees, candidates are required to bring a demand draft of the amount. The draft can be of any nationalized bank. It must be drawn in favour of "Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar," payable at Bhubaneswar.

• In the counselling hall, a Net banking facility will be available for candidates through SBI Collect.

• No admission will be granted without fee deposition.

Reporting to the Allotted College/University

Candidates who complete the document verification and pay the admission fees must report to the allotted college within the specified timeframe. While reporting to the college, candidates are required to carry proof of fee payment, necessary documents, and the allotment letter.

Important Points to be Considered in OUAT Counselling 2024

• Candidates already admitted to a particular course and college through a particular category are permitted for counselling again through another category. This is allowed only if that category is awarded and rank card is issued and admission is yet to be conducted.

• In these cases, candidates are required to pay the admission fees again and the already paid fee will be refunded and processing fees of INR 2000/- will be deducted after one month of candidate admission.

• To get the refund, the candidate must submit the receipt of the previous payment and bank details in a separate application to Asst. registrar of OUAT.

• Admission to the candidates will be denied for those who submit wrong marks to tally weightage and rank in Form-B.

• Any requests to correct weightage and marks will not be entertained by the officials at the counselling.
