With the release of the answer key and response sheet on June 9, students may wonder how to calculate raw scores in CUET UG 226. To simplify, CUET UG raw score is the total marks students have secured after calculating the total scores for correct answers and deducting the marks for incorrect answers.Candidates are awarded 5 marks for every correct answer in CUET UG 2026. Similarly, 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. There is no negative marking in CUET for unattempted questions.

CUET raw score = {(number of correct answers*5)-(number of incorrect answers*1)}
For example, if a student got 40 questions right out of 50 total questions, and got 3 questions wrong and 7 questions were unanswered, his/her CUET raw score will be:
CUET raw score = {(40*5)-(3*1)} = 200-3 = 197
