Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya will release GGU CUET UG admission 2026 dates for registration, counselling, cut-off, merit list, etc. Candidates are required to go through the GGU admission dates in 2026 to complete the admission process on time without missing any event.

GGU CUET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The GGU has basic conditions where the candidates are shortlisted or considered eligible for applying to GGU CUET UG and PG admission 2026. The eligibility criteria for Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya define the minimum qualification a candidate must possess to apply for GGU admission. GGU CUET 2026 Eligibility Criteria - UG

GGU offers undergraduate courses like B.Sc., B.A., B.Tech, BA LLB, B.Com, BSW, BA (Hons), B.P.Ed, and many more. The duration of these UG courses ranges from 1-5 years. Check out the GGU UG admission eligibility criteria in the following table.

• Candidates seeking admission in B.Sc., BA (Hons), or BCA, must have passed 10+2 in a relevant subject with a minimum of at least 50% marks from a recognised university.

• Those who seek admission in BA (LLB) and B.Com, must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% of marks.

• Candidates seeking admission in B.E/B.Tech must have passed 10+2 with chemistry, physics, and mathematics.

• Students applying for B.P.Ed must have passed a bachelor’s degree of three years in a relevant stream or equivalent to a 10+2+3 pattern.

GGU CUET 2026 Eligibility Criteria - PG

GGU offers PG courses like MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc., MA, and M.com. The duration of these postgraduate level courses is 1-2 years.

• All the candidates applying for the PG courses are required to have passed a relevant bachelor’s degree in a subject from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks.

GGU PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria - PhD

The GGU university also provides doctoral programmes in various fields like engineering, business administration and management, sciences, architecture, IT, and computer applications. The duration of PhD offered at GGU is 6 years.

• Candidates applying for PhD at GGU must have passed a master’s degree or a similar professional degree with a good percentage of marks from a recognised university.

GGU Registration 2026 for Admission and Counselling

The university will start the GGU CUET 2026 admission and counselling process on August 7. Interested candidates can register themselves through the Samarth portal. Admission at GGU will be offered to the candidates based on marks obtained by them in the CUET UG 2026 examination. The GGU counselling 2026 will take place offline.

GGU CUET Counselling 2026

The admission committee of the university will inform the candidates about the cut-off marks required for GGU CUET counselling offline. The university will send emails to the respective candidates for the first round of counselling through online mode. Candidates are required to keep checking the details regularly. Phase-wise cut-off marks will be published by the university on the official website at new.ggu.ac.in by the concerned departments.

Interested candidates who seek admission to their respective programmes can participate in the offline counselling process. They are required to report to the concerned department on the scheduled dates once they get the email from the university after the publication of cut-off marks. Candidates are advised to have the following documents required at the time of GGU CUET counselling. The concerned departments will collect the documents along with educational qualifications and will verify them with the originals to check the eligibility of the candidates.

GGU Admission Fee Payment 2026

The University of GGU has some minimum fees to be paid by the students during registration. The payment of the fee can be made only through online mode. The fees once paid by the candidates to the university will not be refunded. The fees refundable will be refunded to the candidates only according to the provisions of the university's relevant ordinances.

GGU CUET Cut-Off 2026

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya will release the GGU CUET 2026 cut-off in August. The university releases a fresh cutoff list every year. Candidates are required to meet the GGU CUET cut-off and eligibility criteria to seek admissions for various UG and PG programmes. GGU Bilaspur CUET cut-off is released in opening and closing ranks where the candidates must secure the minimum rank for admission. CUET cutoff for GGU varies from one category to another and it depends on many factors like difficulty of examination, category of the candidates, number of applicants, previous year's cutoff, number of seats available, and many more.

GGU CUET Merit List 2026

Once the university receives the photocopies of scorecards and mark sheets of the candidates at GGU CUET counselling 2026, it will check the candidate’s eligibility. After checking the eligibility of the candidates, concerned departments of the university will prepare a merit list of the candidates for a particular programme. The merit list will be posted on the university’s notice board and candidates who appeared for offline counselling can check it. It will be prepared based on marks obtained in the CUET UG examination 2026. In case of any tie in the CUET marks, the higher percentage of the class 12th will be considered for preparing the merit list. In case of a further tie, elder candidates will be considered.

GGU Seat Allotment 2026

After the publication of the merit list, selected candidates can pay the semester fees to secure their admission/seats on the same day. The HoDs of the concerned department will collect the semester fees through the SWIPE machine provided by the university. The GGU CUET UG seat allotment will be done after every round of admission counselling on the university website. The list of admitted students will be published after getting the dean's approval. The details of the students will also be provided on the Samrath portal after the admission process is completed.

Note: All the documents’ verification for offline counselling and preparation of the merit list is done by the admission committee of the Guru Ghasidas University. Concerned department deans will coordinate the admission process and will provide the approvals on the candidate’s admission at the time of counselling.
