DAVV CET Counselling 2022: Choice Filling, Procedure, Seat Allotment, Schedule

DAVV CET Counselling 2022 - Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya has released the schedule of DAVV Non-CET 2022 counselling process along with the brochure through online mode. DAVV Non-CET 2022 counselling will start from June 21. The schedule of DAVV CET counselling 2022 will be announced after the commencement of CUET 2022. On the day of DAVV CET counselling, the candidates need to verify their original documents and pay the admission fee.

In order to participate in the DAVV CET 2022 counselling process, candidates must be familiar with the programmes offered by the university as well as the type and group of the programmes.

DAVV CET Counselling Process 2022

Following are the steps of DAVV CET counselling 2022 which candidates have to go through to get a seat in their desired programme -

• The qualified candidates will be eligible to register and participate in the DAVV CET 2022 counselling.

• In accordance with the admission lists, candidates need to appear in the DAVV CET counselling 2022.

• Shortlisted candidates must appear with all required documents at the DAVV CET counselling venue for the document verification process.

• The university will allocate seats once the verification of documents has been completed.

• DAVV CET 2022 counselling will take place on the university campus for groups A, B, C, and D.

• There will be two rounds of DAVV CET counselling 2022. In the event that seats remain vacant, the university will hold another round of counselling.

• Candidates must pay the DAVV with a demand draft of Rs 10,000 drawn in favour of the Registrar, DAVV, Indore, payable at Indore.

DAVV CET 2022 Third Round Counselling against Vacant Seats

• The final round of DAVV CET counselling 2022 is open to candidates who did not receive a seat in the previous round.

• During the first two rounds of DAVV CET counselling 2022, a third round of admissions will be conducted only if seats are left vacant in a few programs.

• Following the second round of DAVV CET counselling, a detailed schedule and formalities related to the final round of DAVV CET counselling will be announced.

• For the third round of DAVV counselling, candidates who applied for the first two rounds need to apply again.

DAVV CET 2022 Counselling - Tie-Breaking Policy

The university has a tie breaking criteria for a situation when two or more candidates score the similar marks in the DAVV CET 2022 entrance test. Following is the criteria used to resolve the problem of tie amongst the candidates.

1. In case of a tie, age seniority is considered first.

2. The name of the candidate in alphabetical order is considered if the age of the candidates are similar.

DAVV CET Counselling 2022 - Refund

• If a candidate leaves the seat before the last day of DAVV CET counselling, the registration fee will be refunded after deduction of Rs 1000.

• Only the caution money will be refunded if the candidate leaves any seat before the said dates.

• If a provisionally admitted student does not pass the last qualifying exam,then after a deduction of Rs 1000 the fee deposited gets refunded.

• Copy of counselling registration form

• Three passport sized photographs

• Migration certificate

• Transfer certificate

• Caste certificate for SC, ST and OBC

• Qualifying exam marksheet

If a candidate wishes to withdraw their admissions, they can do so by cancelling their admissions. As part of the same process, candidates need to fill out a cancellation form and then collect their documents from their respective department. In some cases, the admission fee may be refunded after the required formalities have been completed.ion.

• During the first week of October, DAVV counselling will begin after the admission lists are released.

• To complete the document verification process, qualified candidates need to visit their respective departments at the scheduled time.

• To pay the admission fee, candidates will need a demand draft of Rs 10,000 with them.

• Those who do not attend the DAVV CET counselling 2022 at the designated time will be disqualified from applying.

DAVV CET Counselling 2022 - Reservation of Seats

According to the Madhya Pradesh government's reservation policy, seats at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya are reserved. Candidates from Madhya Pradesh will be entitled to reservation benefits.

• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) from MP State are eligible for 10% of seats.

• There will be one over and above seat reserved for PWD candidates with a disability percentage of 40% or higher. The BA LLB Hons program will be exempt from this policy.

• About 16-20% of the university's seats are reserved for students from the SC and ST categories.

• Female candidates receive 30% of the reserved seats.

• A total of 14% of seats are reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.

• Candidates belonging to the employee ward category will get admissions as per the university guidelines.

• Candidates must produce a certificate from the competent authority that has to be produced by the candidates at the time of admission.
