The applicant needs to be a citizen of India.
A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India prior to January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling there permanently.

There is no upper age limit for applicants. Any candidate, regardless of age, who has passed the bachelor's degree or equivalent exam or is taking the CUET PG 2026 exam can apply to Central Universities' master's degree programs.
Bachelor's degree under the 10+2+3 educational pattern with a minimum of 50% in the social sciences and 55% for those with a bachelor's degree in science and technology.
In comparison to the open category, all OBC (non-creamy layer) applicants are eligible for a 10% relaxation in the qualifying exam's mark percentage.

You have not specified which linguistic paper you are talking about. Therefore, I can only provide you the general steps to find out one. Although the CUET pg exams were already conducted in March 2025, the question papers for this year are not available officially yet by NTA. But still if you want to practise i am providing you some tips to practise the latest questions .
You can check YouTube videos of teachers for your linguistic subject, usually they provide detailed solutions for latest previous year questions. Secondly, as of now you can practice from 2024 pyqs at Career360 linguistic question paper and keep checking for 2025 PYQS to get updated on career360 website.
