What is the Dress Code for Male Candidates?

Male applicants can make sure they are prepared and follow the dress code for the CUET UG exam 2025 by following these simple dos and don'ts. To prevent problems or interruptions during the examination process, it is important to follow these rules. The following dress code and instructions must be followed by male candidates who are planning to appear for the CUET UG exam in 2025:

Do's:

• Students should wear simple and light coloured clothing.

• Choose slippers or sandals with low heels for footwear.

Don'ts:

• Avoid wearing full sleeve shirts, hoodies, jackets and belts.

• Shoes are not allowed

• Avoid sports shoes or closed foot wear

• Do not wear watches, bracelets, chains and other metal items.

• No goggles or caps are allowed in the exam centre.

Are jeans allowed for male candidates in CUET UG exam 2025?

Yes, as long as candidates follow the dress code requirements, simple jeans without any metallic accents or decorations are permitted for CUET UG 2025. Male candidates are restricted from wearing pants with buttons, zippers, or decorations as these may cause the security frisking procedure to take longer.

CUET Exam Day Guidelines 2025

Given below are the CUET exam day guidelines which candidates should be aware of before appearing for the entrance test.

• Before leaving the home to appear for the CUET examination, candidates should make sure that they have all the mandatory documents like admit card and ID proof.

• Candidates are advised to reach the CUET UG examination centre 1-2 hours before the entrance exam begins. It must also be noted that they will not be allowed to enter the CUET 2025 exam centre 30 minutes prior to the exam commencement.

• Candidates with benchmark disability (PwD) will be provided compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination.

• They have to paste a recent photograph of themselves on the CUET admit card 2025.

• Without the CUET admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.

• Candidates should be very careful while attempting any answer as there is negative marking in the CUET.
