    Careers360: Tell us a bit about yourself.
    Prince Mishra:
    I’m Prince Mishra, going to be an alumnus of RNSIT from the Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML) department, batch of 2025. I recently received an offer from Amazon India with a package of Rs 50 LPA, and I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter of my career.

    Careers360: What were the factors that made you choose your institution/university?
    Prince Mishra:
    RNSIT has a stellar reputation for its academic standards, placement opportunities, and a strong technical culture. The moment I visited the campus, I felt it was the right place to build both my technical skills and overall personality.

    Careers360: Why did you choose to pursue your specialisation?
    Prince Mishra:
    Artificial Intelligence has always fascinated me – from smart assistants to self-driving cars. I knew this field was the future, and RNSIT offered one of the best AIML programmes with solid faculty and infrastructure.

    Careers360: Please describe your journey till date.
    Prince Mishra:
    My journey has been filled with dedication, learning, and growth. I took part in coding competitions, internships, and projects that constantly challenged me. Eventually, all the hard work paid off when I landed the opportunity at Amazon.

    Careers360: What are the key learning points from your college days that have held you in good stead so far?
    Prince Mishra:
    Persistence, time management, and collaborative learning were the biggest takeaways. RNSIT taught me to be consistent and to never give up – especially during tough coding rounds and interviews.

    Careers360: Share a few good memories from your college days.
    Prince Mishra:
    One of my best memories was during our college fest when we won the hackathon event. Apart from academics, I’ll never forget the bonding with friends, late-night coding sessions, and canteen chats.

    Careers360: What were the extracurricular activities you participated in during your college days? How did they help in shaping your future and career path?
    Prince Mishra:
    I was actively involved in the Coding Club and Hackathons. These platforms helped me sharpen my problem-solving skills and boosted my confidence during placement interviews.

    Careers360: How would you describe the support that you got from the faculty and team / classmates? How did it help?
    Prince Mishra:
    The faculty at RNSIT were more than just teachers – they were mentors. They constantly encouraged me to take up projects, guided me through placement preparations, and helped me stay motivated. My classmates were equally supportive, and we learned a lot from each other.

    Careers360: What was your placement season like? Any memories you would like to share with our readers?
    Prince Mishra:
    The placement season was intense but incredibly rewarding. Preparing for Amazon’s rigorous interview rounds was challenging, but with peer support and faculty guidance, I cracked it. The moment I got the confirmation mail from Amazon will forever be etched in my memory.

    Careers360: Do you believe that constant reinvention is a must and one needs to keep abreast of the updated trends in the field? How best would you describe the process?
    Prince Mishra:
    Definitely. The tech industry evolves rapidly. I made it a point to stay updated through online courses, coding platforms, and by contributing to open-source projects. Continuous learning is key to staying relevant.

    Careers360: Your advice to future aspirants?
    Prince Mishra:
    Dream big and be consistent. Make full use of the resources at RNSIT – be it faculty, labs, or clubs. Practice coding regularly, build projects, and never hesitate to ask for help. Opportunities like Amazon are achievable if you stay focused and work hard.

    The Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering program at RNS Institute of Technology ( RNSIT ) , Bangalore offers decent placements , especially in core sectors . While placements for mechanical are not high as for CSE , students still get good opportunities with proper training and support from

    Candidates for Round 1 Karnataka PGCET 2024 for MCA called for fee payment and counselling process is still going on so this is the first round there are more rounds to go thats why cutoff rank is not similar to previous year.

    The fee structure of RNS Institution for the course CSE through the entrance exam of COMEDK in around 5.5 lakhs per academic session. This fee structure is higher if you get admission from Management Quota which is around 7 lakhs per academic year.
