AMU Admission 2025: The Aligarh Muslim University will conduct the AMU 2025 admission expectedly in April. Students must submit their AMU 2025 application before the last date from the official website at amucontrollerexam.com. Admission in AMU will be done through the CUET Exam for some courses. For other courses the AMU test will be conducted. It conducts three types of Aligarh Muslim University courses selection – in which candidates are selected through centralised Admission Test, Departmental Test course in which candidates are selected through Departmental Test and Non-Test course in which candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in their qualifying examination.

AMU Eligibility Criteria 2025

Following is provided complete AMU Eligibility criteria for CUET based courses & others:

For CUET Exam:

• Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen to be eligible for the exam.

• Qualification (UG): Candidates must have passed 12th level or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.

• Percentage: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible for AMU.

• Age Limit: The following candidate must not be more than 24 years as on 1st July of admission year.

Other Courses:

For B. Tech Program:

• Qualification: Candidates must have a Senior Secondary School Certificate examination or its equivalent.

• Marks: Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate for qualifying exam.

• Subjects: The candidate must have passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects (PCME).

For B. Com (Hons.)

• Qualification: Candidates must be passed in 12th (Intermediate) level or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.

• Marks: Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam in aggregate OR

• Candidates must have Diploma in Secretarial Practice examination of this university with not less than 55% marks in aggregate.

• Subjects: Candidates must have mandatory subjects such as English with one of the following subjects- Accountancy/ Economics/ Business studies/ Commerce/ Banking/ Mathematics/ Computer Science.

For MBA:

• Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from any recognized university/ institute.

• Marks: Candidates must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

• Age Limit: The upper age limit will be 27 years as on 1st July in the year of admission.

AMU Application Form 2025

Aspirants can check the complete details regarding the AMU 2025 application form below:

• The application form for AMU 2023 for CUET UG has been released through online mode.

• For other courses, the schedule of AMU has been released separately.

• Candidates have to enter all the login credentials in the AMU application form such as name, qualification, email id, address, contact no., etc.

• Upload the scanned copy of passport size coloured photograph, signature, and thumb impression.

• Take the printout of the application form for future reference.

Steps To Apply For AMU 2025 Application

• Visit the official website of AMU.

• Candidates need to enter details like to create a username and password, and then enter details such as name, email id, mobile number, date of birth, etc.

• Click on the “Save and Continue” button to submit the details.

• You need to upload your passport size scanned photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression.

• Click on the “Pay Application Fee” button and proceed to pay the required amount of fee.

• Once the payment is successful, it is advised to take the printout of the AMU application form for future reference.

The AMU application fee will be available through both online as well as offline mode. Candidates can pay using credit card, debit card, net banking or DD payment gateways.

AMU 2025 Exam Pattern

For CUET exam:

• Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

• Type of Questions: The paper contains Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

• Medium: The exam will be offered in 13 languages: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

• Time Duration: The duration of exam for slot I will be 3 hours and for slot II it will be 3.5 hours.

For B. Tech course (AMUEEE):

• Type of questions: The paper will contain Multiple Choice questions.

• Total Marks: The paper will be of total 150 marks.

• Total questions: The total number of questions will be 150 questions.

• Sections: The paper will consist of 3 sections via Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

• Duration: The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

• Marking scheme: 1 mark will be given for every correct answer and -0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

AMU Syllabus 2025

AMU syllabus 2025 varies for various offered courses. There is a different syllabus for each academic program to be offered in AMU. For UG courses, candidates need to study the exam as per the AMU syllabus prescribed for 11th & 12th level respectively.

For PG courses, the syllabus will depend on the Aptitude Test/ English and relevant technical subjects.

AMU Admit Card 2025

The university will release the AMU admit card on its official website. The AMU admit card is the key to appear in the entrance exam. The AMU 2025 admit card contains important details regarding the exam centre and address. It also contains the students' details. Along with this a page of instructions is also available in the admit card. Students must carry the AMU admit card 2025 on the examination day. It is also mandatory to carry the identification proof along with the admit card.

AMU Result 2025

The exam conducting authority will announce the AMU entrance test result in June 2025. Applicants will be able to check the AMU entrance test result through the official website. The AMU 2025 entrance exam result consists of details such as roll number and rank of the candidate. No candidates will receive the result of AMU 2023 through post or courier. AMU 2025 Merit List

The university released the merit list of the different courses on the website. The merit list contains the name of the shortlisted candidates. Candidates can download the AMU merit list and can search their name by clicking ctrl+F. The AMU counselling will be done on the basis of the AMU 2025 result.

AMU 2025 Counselling

Mode of Counselling Of AMU entrance exam 2025 will be held in online mode just after the declaration of the AMU 2025 entrance test result, the exam conducting authority of the Aligarh Muslim University will commence the counselling process. The counselling of AMU will be conducted separately depending upon the ranking of the candidates. AMU counselling comprises registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification and others.

Only those candidates who cleared the cut off marks will be eligible for the AMU 2025 counselling. After the successful verification of the qualified candidates and the fee payment, the seats will be allotted to the candidates. To confirm their admission, the candidates have to pay the AMU 2023 admission fees.
